Being friends with someone as spontaneous as Faith can have its perks. She's invited the entire under-30 crowd at the castle to come celebrate her friend Andie's 21st birthday at an exclusive dance club called the Silver Band in downtown London.

The club is swirling with colors, as disco balls reflect silvery light that catches on the large quantities of glitter that cover just about every surface. The main dance floors are made of transparent glass, and the club is multi-storied, so that you can choose to dance higher up and see everyone below under your feet. Below the ground floor is a strange black canopy that seems to reflect odd flickering lights, almost like stars. There's a sort of classic opulence to the decor, and hallways branch off here and there to private rooms out of sight. Floating lights bob around the ceiling, that look almost like crystalline balls, except they're light as bubbles and can pop when touched.

Strangely, there are cobwebs in various areas of the club, mostly out of reach, as if it hasn't had occasion to be cleaned in awhile, but there's no traces of grime or dirt anywhere. Faith has a private room procured off one of the halls for the mini-buffet, because how can it be Andie's birthday without food??

[Jordan is here looking quite dashing in his suit, but also strangely tense and jumpy. The night would mostly find him hovering close to Fiona, though trying not to be overly obvious about it.

He is not doing such a good job of it.]

[ fiona doesn't notice his lurking, or she just doesn't mind. either way, she's happy to be hanging out with her new friend at this awesome club. ] What are you drinking? I need a refill.

[he tilts his glass to show her the dark red liquid inside, then takes a nervous gulp]

Wine, keeping it simple. Are you having a good time? [i.e. are you ready to leave yet?? Cuz really, he is ready to get fiona, all of them, out of here.]

Oh, right! You can make your own, duh.

And I am having the best time! What about you? Is this just... not your thing? [ there's definite pity behind the question. so sad, jordan. so sad. ]

[he shrugs uncomfortably at her question]

I... No, not really it isn't. I'm trying to have a good time, it's just that clubs like this make me uncomfortable.

[missindependent]

[ she gives him a weird look ] You mean awesome ones? I haven't been to a place this cool in... well, actually, I don't remember, like, ever going to a club like this. [ and she shrugs it off like nbd ]

[he winces at her forgetfulness, guilt digging deep . He takes a deep breath, feet shifting as he looks around once more.]

Yeah, this club is my fathers not as cool as you would like to believe, Fiona. It's...

Do you have any idea why it is that you have such a hard time remembering things?

[missindependent]

[ she ponders that for a moment ] I guess that must fall under the 'things I don't remember' category. [ but she chuckles, shaking her head ] It's no big deal, promise. I don't remember it any other way. [ and she casts him a wink ]

[he averts his eyes again, guilt filling his stomach. He had to tell her, something, anything]

Fiona, you don't think it's weird at all that you can't remember things, a lot of things?

[missindependent]

[ now that you mention in... nope, any possible concern is now gone :) instead she just shrugs ] I guess, but, what am I supposed to do about it? No use fretting over something I can't change, right?

What if I were to tell you that it issomething that can be changed?

[ once more, she looks intrigued and slightly confused for all of two seconds before any uncertainty is swept from her face. again. ] I don't usually deal in the hypothetical. I prefer my life a little more fast-paced than that.

[he makes a frustrated noise deep in his throat, taking a deep breath.]

Fiona, listen carefully. There is a way to make it so that you can remember things. Remember everything.

[missindependent]

[ fiiiine. she looks at him expectantly, folding her arms ] Alright, what is it?

[asap]

[NO LURKING. It's Andie's party and everyone must have fun! She grabs him and pulls him out onto the dance floor.]

Hi! ...I don't think we've met. But it's my birthday.

[wishuponadjinn]

[he doesn't resist, just looks a bit startled as he follows her to the floor. It takes just moments though before he is smiling at Andie, twirling her once they reach the middle.]

That must make you Andie, right? It's good to meet you, I'm Jordan.

[asap]

Hi Jordan! [She giggles as she spins.] Thanks for coming. You're friends with Fiona?

Yeah, I am her...friend I guess you could say. We technically only just met this past month, but it feels like I've known her so much longer than that. [he gets a strange faraway look on his face as he says that, eyes distant.]

[missindependent]

[ her ears are ringing~ ] You're laying it on a little thick there, big guy, don't ya think? [ but she laughs as she slings an arm over his shoulder ]

[he chuckles, a light flush of color sweeping his cheeks.] Guilty as charged.

[Andie bounces to a stop and holds out her other hand to Fiona.]

Gonna dance with us?

[missindependent]

Oh yeah, of course! [ her hand slides down from jordan's shoulder to grip his hand and she holds out her other toward andie ] Shall we?

[jordan smiles, taking her hand and tugging them both out to the dance floor, turning and starting to dance with them once there (dance 17).]

Yeah, party time!! [he is so-so lame sometimes]
