Being friends with someone as spontaneous as Faith can have its perks. She's invited the entire under-30 crowd at the castle to come celebrate her friend Andie's 21st birthday at an exclusive dance club called the Silver Band in downtown London.
The club is swirling with colors, as disco balls reflect silvery light that catches on the large quantities of glitter that cover just about every surface. The main dance floors are made of transparent glass, and the club is multi-storied, so that you can choose to dance higher up and see everyone below under your feet. Below the ground floor is a strange black canopy that seems to reflect odd flickering lights, almost like stars. There's a sort of classic opulence to the decor, and hallways branch off here and there to private rooms out of sight. Floating lights bob around the ceiling, that look almost like crystalline balls, except they're light as bubbles and can pop when touched.
Strangely, there are cobwebs in various areas of the club, mostly out of reach, as if it hasn't had occasion to be cleaned in awhile, but there's no traces of grime or dirt anywhere. Faith has a private room procured off one of the halls for the mini-buffet, because how can it be Andie's birthday without food??

down the hall, faye sees no sign of andie, but her eyes are drawn to a strange red light emitting from one of the rooms.
when she looks in, the room seems to literally be made of fire, but once entered it is discovered that the fire is cool to the touch, more illusion than the real thing. The floor, the tables, rugs, even the drinks have flames dancing around them. There are plenty of real, tiny flames dancing throughout the space, and an actual roaring blaze in a room-long man-tall fireplace. The flames inside of the massive fireplace dance in multi-colored hues, but give off a very real heat. There are only a small handful of people lounging in this room, some in quiet conversations with each other, some holding onto their cups and staring at the flames dancing along the rims, taking the occasional drink through the fires. it's hypnotic and enticing and pretty awesome. ]

She wanders around for a minute before finding a drink of her own, because hell yeah drinking through fire.]

This was not the romantic encounter Andie had hoped for. It's not like she and Faye are exclusive or even... exactly... a thing but still that's just mean being all come hither just to show Andie how all over some guy Faye could be. She crosses the room, touching Faye's shoulder, and gives her an injured look.]
Is this a joke?

There you are. C'mere. [Look no one said this dance couldn't be for three. I mean what?]

Andie steps in, grabbing Faye's hand, and twirls gracefully into the dance (dance 19).]

mr. beefcake over here got a 19 too so y'all are gonna be one sexy dancin sandwich. and it sure keeps getting hotter in here, doesn't it?
maybe he'll just
take his shirt off. that seems the natural reaction. and he'll twirl it and throw it into the fire which releases a cascade of sparks. ]

Happy fucking birthday. Possibly literally.]

Faye...
[It comes out as a moan.]
My zipper, can you--
[It's a little hard to reach right now, but it also feels like the best idea in the world to get her dress off, and she can't do that without moving further away than she's ok with.]

Better? [She directs to both of them, really]
