Just as before, accessing the secret room where the Round Table is housed requires using the Knight's keycard to open the glass case beside the mural of the War in Heaven, located across from the ballroom entrance. Using the fire extinguisher as a lever to activate the "door" mechanism reveals the long torch-lit hall plastered in artwork depicting the Knight's history. The tenants of the Knighthood hang large and foreboding over the doors at the end of the hall, which stand open to reveal the brightly lit Round Table, and the majestic crystalline dragon statue presiding over it.

Come in, find a seat, meet your teammates if you haven't already. Christos and Wynn are already here when you arrive.

[Aedan strolls in not long afterward. And while he isn't surprised to see Wynn-sama or Christos-senpai present, he's pleasantly surprised to find Thoster-kun included in this little briefing. Everyone's gettin' a friendly smile whether they wanted one or not, while he sits his ass down in the seat next to Thoster.]

[ penelope's last to arrive, and she strides in purposefully, taking a general sweep of the room and the people in it before plopping down in a seat of her own. the blonde cleric isn't currently donning her full plate armor, but her currently attire is obviously heavily influenced by that old-world charm.

she just hopes this has something to do with slaying vampires :') ]

Possibly smugglers, possibly nothing. We're investigating troubling rumors on the island nation of Tobago. A contact of ours believes an illegal slave shipment has recently arrived there, and believes the proprietor of a bar called the Devil's Fire Tavern to be a smuggler, who's rumored to be connected with the shipment.

[Slavers again? Thoster is starting to feel like this is profiling.]

Are we looking to confirm the rumor, set it right, or all of it?

Information provided by Sir River has indicated that these shipments may in fact be linked to the cover company that was redirecting Slovechnian refugees to Andres Isle - a mission Sir Chatwyn participated in last year.

[ penelope definitely appreciates your enthusiasm, hook, especially when it comes to crushing evils such as slavery. she nods vigorously in agreement with him. ] If such barbarity is indeed occurring in this Tobago, we'll be sure to set it right. Immediately.

[ penelope shakes her head, because she doesn't have any questions. however, she does look to the rest of the group to see if anyone looks uneasy or uncertain ]

[Hook looks pretty certain. He shrugs a shoulder.] Unless there's something more complicated about the mission?

[Despite being entirely unfamiliar with a few of those terms--mostly the names of places or nationalities, Aedan was able to follow along well enough to feel confident in their assignment. Apparently everyone was in consensus.]
