[so yeah it's elena's special moment, and he's happy for her and all that — he even got her a card ok — but it would be a lie to say he didn't have some ulterior motives in showing up to this shindig. that weren't even on the same planet as congratulating elena. no, they were entirely myri-related. he knew she'd be here, and wouldn't be likely to run away upon spotting him because she's sort of required to be there. and she wouldn't want to miss out on elena's after-party, anyway.
