Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

Myri, Wynn, and Koraith wait up at the front of the room for Elena to approach them, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.

"Sir Elena Gilbert, please kneel."

Right? I mean I don't know about you, but I always expect my friends to turn out to be doppelgängers, clones, and/or robots. You'd think they'd catch on quicker.

[It's been like thirty seconds...]

[Klaus is equally paranoid, though he's a little less dumb about it. But before he can applaud the masked man for his foresight, a new challenger in the form of Uncle Jesse making his post-Full House debut appears.]

[Klaus is not so outwardly enthusiastic. He just takes a drink while Deadpool goes apeshit. Unlike his friend here, he isn't trying to alienate himself from the entire castle. That doesn't mean he can't appreciate the violence though.]

I was beginning to wonder if they'd ever realize there was more than one of them. [Good job, Buffy. Because Klaus sure as fuck wasn't going to announce it.]

[Deadpool looks like he's gonna question the number of doppelgängers, but then Wynn stands up and gets really scary. Deadpool leans in towards Klaus and whispers (loudly enough that people can probably hear):]

I have a very confusing boner right now.

[Also he takes out his phone and starts recording this shit.]

[That makes two of us. Look, Klaus is excited too but--]

That's what we call an "overshare."

[Now shut the fuck up. Elena is crying, this shit is getting good.]

[Whatever why did you ever expect anything less than overshare from Deadpool. It's amazing how expressive the mask is. He's staring and frowning and crinkling his brow and you can see it. How does he breathe in that thing.]

So which guys are we rooting for again?

I don't know about you, but I tend to root for the underdog. [S-such bullshit. But it was more interesting that way.]

Though, I admit, I do have a soft spot for our heroine in this particular instance.

Maybe we can root for both. JUST KISS ALREADY!

[Klaus won't go that far .. but we will kick his leg out in an attempt to knock over Deadpool's chair (and Deadpool along with it). Shut. The fuck. Up. Would be the underlying message here.]
