Talk about a soiree.  The team has walked into what is clearly legitimately a Gatsby party, but with an Indian flair.  Even upon approach, it's easy to see that this place is without parallel:  people are driving cars right up on the lawn of the fabulous mansion, which looks half-modern and half like a palace out of a Bollywood film.  Men and women in bright colors, fabrics, beads and silks move inside en masse, and as the doors are opened before them, they can see the grandness of the interior, with its diamond garland, draped fabrics, giant jeweled elephant statues, indoor trees that arch to the ceilings, twirling dancers, and a tall dramatic staircase leading up to a balcony above where the host himself reclines surrounded by admirers and friends, smoking a cigar.  

Liquor flows freely, and food is carried around on golden trays through the crowds.  It's an overwhelming buffet for the senses, a dizzying spectacle of color, laughter, dancing, and entertainment.

[David glances to Alex and he doesn't know if they're thinking about exactly the same thing BUT HE HAS AN INKLING (wisdom 17). He doesn't know if it'll work on the curse in question, but it's definitely worth a shot.]

We'll take one of those. Plus some for healing and some for stealth. Do you have anything that can resist mind control?

Psionics? Those are sort of a different animal. I don't really have anything that can counteract that kind of thing.

What about something that negates the effects of a spell being cast? [just in case his bullshit isn't psionics tbh.]

Dispelling magic doesn't really translate well to potion form. It's not like it's something you just sprinkle on someone's head - they have to drink it.

[Andie shoots Alex a look like wtf are you even talking about before turning back to Epiphany.] I'll totally take the strength one. If we're still under nine.

[ The Doctor's stayed back, oddly quiet through all of this, just taking in what everyone else is saying. But he looks at the screen, and nods once. ]

None detection wouldn't go amiss. Might at least give a headstart.

[ she smirks ] Points for thinking outside the box, I guess. [ she goes to grab some bottles off a shelf, tossing them to the people who requested them: ] Bull's strength for you, Red. Nondetection for Bowtie.

Don't forget the healing potions. Let's get some for light and moderate.

[Alex 2.0 is just going to watch all this in silence with her arms folded across her chest because her and concoctions you drink is tick in the 'hell no' box for her.]

[ while they're ordering, she grabs the rest and lines them up: ]

Remove curse. Invisibility. Three light wounds. Three moderate. Brings you up to ten.

Great. Thank you.

[See, he can be polite. He reaches for the remove curse and tucks it into his pocket unless Alex protests, as well as one of the moderates. He can take a few hits, and he's planning on being towards the front anyway.]

[he glances back to the Doctor.]

[ he doesn't protest, but he does look at david like if he breaks or loses that shit he will rearrange his spine. :) and he takes a light and a moderate just for shits and giggles. whatever. then, to piffy:] I don't think we ever got your name. [Andie grabs one of the light wounds to keep with her as well, tucking it and the bull's strength into her pockets. Then she bounces up and down on her feet anxiously. She knows that it's not as much time to everyone else as it is to her, but can't they leave already?]

Should be able to. Unless she's somehow shielded. Wouldn't put it past Loki to work out we can follow and lead us the wrong way on purpose. But hey, let's cross that bridge when we get to it, eh?

[He nods again before glancing back to the other Alex, raising his eyebrows.]

[ The Doctor pulls out his own phone, and begins sonicing it. It could be described as breaking it, yes, but he likes to think it's more an improvement. ]

Just boosting the GPS signal. We're counting on her phone still being on, and counting that she's got it with her. Bit rubbish, really, I mean she was stolen off by a mischievous God, he's probably not going to be letting her keep her mobile just in case she gets the odd text.

[ epiphany smirks at Alex, giving him a quick and appreciative once over. ]
