The first twenty-four hours of searching yielded no results, in the hunt for Elena and the escaped doppelganger Kyp.  Most consider it not worth keeping up the search when both of them are capable of vanishing into literally any crowd, but Wynn isn't so quick to give up.  To that end, he's hired monster hunter Dean Winchester to work with a special team in trying to track them down.  A few other Knights familiar with Elena are invited along to the mini briefing, where Wynn and Dean already wait.

Changelings are still genetically similar to doppelgangers, since they're the children of one. Like he said, they're rare, and he might consider it the closest he's gonna find to a pureblood.

I think he would rather play mind games than resort to murder right off the bat. For better or for worse. But if you provoked him enough, in the right way — through Elena — I wouldn't be surprised if he lashed out with violence.

I've tangled with these things before. Some of these sons of bitches don't think twice about offing people, since all we are is disposable and inferior to 'em.

If the trail leads directly to Andres, and we have proof that they've traveled there, your mission will be put on hold until we receive back the intelligence from the mission group that will be going there to hear Sarandis' terms.

[For just a second something dark stirs in Rose's eyes but a moment later she gives a curt nod, as if to say that she accepts the order.]

One last question... Can a Doppelganger read anyone's mind or just the mind of the person they've shifted into?

Anybody's. That's what makes 'em so good at imitation. They read the minds of the people who actually are used to interacting with their vic, so they can play right into their expectations of how Joe Blow's gonna act.

Unless you would like to be held personally responsible for the deaths of Sir Bancroft and potentially those Knights who are sent to speak to Sarandis, yes. If, however, you disobey those orders, and endanger so many of my Knights and Sir Gilbert herself out of impetuousness, then I regret that I will not be able to welcome you back within these walls. Sarandis has a great deal of inside intelligence on our organization. We must work under the assumption that he can recognize any of our members on sight, and the moment he sees one of them uninvited on Andres soil, Thomas is likely to be killed.
