The first twenty-four hours of searching yielded no results, in the hunt for Elena and the escaped doppelganger Kyp.  Most consider it not worth keeping up the search when both of them are capable of vanishing into literally any crowd, but Wynn isn't so quick to give up.  To that end, he's hired monster hunter Dean Winchester to work with a special team in trying to track them down.  A few other Knights familiar with Elena are invited along to the mini briefing, where Wynn and Dean already wait.

[Helen simply presses her lips into a thin line at the comment. Her eyes immediately go to Rose, just in case she needs to... stop her from hitting him tbh.]

[Welp. That Will Save wasn't amazing but at least she didn't crit fail so despite Rose's head snapping around and a look that would kill if it could, there are no black eyes in Dean's immediate future at least.]

Enough. [Intimidate of a whopping 35.] You don't joke about that where they're concerned, not ever, not if you wanna keep breathing. [Her hands clench and unclench at her sides.] Are we clear?

[ his will save was a ... 22, which is still impressive in general, so he doesn't LOOK afraid... much. ] ... As crystal. [ he moves to the door and starts working on the lock, but a commotion from the direction of the offices distracts him. he frowns in that direction. ] Someone wanna see what that is?

[Leaving these two alone seems... like a poor choice but she also could use a minute away from this hot mess. Mom needs a smoke break. That smoke might just end up coming from the barrel of her gun, depending on what the fuck is happening over by the office.]

[She keeps close to the wall of the motel, trying to use shadows to her advantage to get a look at what's going on. But her spot is only 10 so I guess she's trying to keep one eye on the kids.]

Rose is however sticking with Dean despite her recent Grr but keeps an eye on Helen as she moves towards the office. (Spot 31)]

So... [Archer breaks the silence as him and Damon keep an eye on the situation outside.] Seen anything good on T.V. lately?

[Listen check: 5. He probably doesn't even notice Helen heading towards the office...]

[ dean busts the door open, and in they go, where he takes a slow, cursory look around. at first glance, things seem much the same... ] Might be something small housekeeping overlooked, if they were here.

[Helen continues towards the office, gun in hand as she sloooowly opens the door...

WHAT IS HAPPEN???]

[ an older man who totally has dentures is busy yelling at the clerk to get the police on the line. neither of them notices helen with her weapon drawn, but there's definitely mention of a stolen car(!) ]

[She slides her gun into the back of her pants, covering it with her jacket before stepping into the office more fully.]

What's all the yelling about in here? What's going on?

Meanwhile, back in the room...

Rose drags her eyes away from Helen and the office, following Dean inside and like before, takes a look around (spot 30)]

[ totally herman. he looks up and says: "This man let my car be stolen! He's working with those hoodlums!"

meanwhile, rose finds something really odd... the phone in the room is missing, and a further search reveals that the bathtub is oddly marked up, the broken phone lying in the bathroom trash can. it's still slightly wet to the touch. ] You find something?

Something.... [Read: She has no friggen idea what but it sure is spinning awful scenarios in her head.

She's so not even mad at Dean anymore for now.

Going over to the trash can, Rose inspects the phone, looking from it to the bathtub as she slowly stands.]

Whoever was in this room hasn't been gone long. [Wiping her hand off on her pants.] Why would somebody throw a phone in a bathtub? Anger? [No Rose that's you.] To stop somebody from making a call? [A mix of hope and dread for that last part.]

You think she was trying to get away from him? Contact one of you?

Maybe... [Worry lines etching across her brow.] Once he got away from the Castle he could have shown his true colors... [Sounding it out.] I don't know. After what he did I can't believe she ever would have helped him escape so I don't think I'm a great judge of this.

"What he did". You keep saying that, but you're not really lettin' me on what that's supposed to mean, besides the obvious.

[ the old man provides a rundown idk i'm tired and it was never established so OLD PERSON BLACK VEHICLE THAT LOOKS LIKE A BOAT ]

[Cue an incredibly long pause as Rose stares at the marked up bath, biting the insides of her cheeks before she finally raises her gaze to meet Dean's.]

He raped her. [Sounding almost defiant.]

[Helen nods at the description, which also includes the license plate because Helen is extremely thorough.]

Did you get a look at them? Were they staying here?

so so sorry for the delay, comedically, though, in the midst of the action.

[ Damon for his part is paying attention to the parking lot, the knights, hell, everything (spot 26). Should he actually notice the commotion in one of the rooms, Damon tries to listen (16) to everyone but Archer. His will save of 13 keeps him from committing Archercide. ] A lot of packed streets and not the car we were looking for.

[ dean's expression changes instantly, his eyebrows lifting for a moment in surprise and sympathy, but then furrowing again as he looks away and takes a step past her. ]

... 'Course he did. [ it's grim, anger lacing the words, and an undisguised hatred for the monster that would do something like that and consider it natural. ] Christ.

[ inside, the guy turns to scratch his head and look at helen. "Get a look at who? The thief?" ]

Yes, the thief. [She's trying s-so hard not to sound exasperated.] Did you see them at all? Was it just one or were there multiple people involved?

[Helen presses her mouth thin, trying very very hard to be patient.]

Well, I... hope it turns up. [Look she never said she was a cop or anything. Thanks for the information. As she turns to leave, she calls out.] If I see anything, I'll let you know.
