The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

Is this some sort of veil thing? Because I barely remembered my name. And I don't kill people! Except the ones that really have it coming.

[He looks the slightest bit hopeful. He doesn't want to have forgotten he's a bad guy. He wants to not have been one at all.]

He was a grade A jerk with questionable fashion sense, but not a vampire. And by he, I mean you.

[His face shifts, fangs sliding out.]

I am a vampire. So it sounds like perhaps you've got the wrong bloke.

[ she steps back a step and then looks around wildly, reaching for... a large biscotti. it's the best she's got ok. ] Or some fanged freak got their hands on you since the last time you came slumming around? Just... stay back, I'm armed. [ it's a very pointy biscotti ok ]

[Spike rolls his eyes. Her biscotti doesn't scare him, but this entire situation is KIND OF ANNOYING.]

I'm not going to hurt you. I'm a bloody knight. We don't generally eat people.

Right. You're a Knight. Who even invited you in here?

Uh, that'd be Wynn? You know, the same bloke who invited you?

[WILL JUST CAME FOR THE FOOD. why is a teenage girl interrupting his food???? why is he the patron saint of teenagers??? whatever, he'll just go with it.] Um ... [he glances over at spike, and immediately sizes him up with his magical girl empath sense motive. which ends up being 26 vs spike's 11.] He seems all right. [THAT'S NOT A NUMBER, WILL. whatever.]

[Really? All right's all he gets?]

I'd prefer "extremely bloody heroic," but I guess I'll take it.

[he got a knowledge: castle shit 12, so...] You're on the long mission, aren't you? The one everyone talks about? ... You knew Elena.

[Spike scowls at him.]

I know Elena. She's not dead. She'll be back.

If a doppelganger doesn't want to be found, well ... [ur not gonna make him finish that sentence, are you, spike??]

It's not about that. She's our friend. She'll be back.

[Shut up, Will. He's done with you. He scowls and turns to Cordelia.]

Are you satisfied yet? Or do we need to take a bloody poll? Or better yet, ask Wynn himself?
