The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

Lila. And you're right, which is why the bar is free, I'm pretty sure. And I guess, probably, because Wynn would be paying for it anyway.

Year and a half, give or take a month or two. [ idk math. she isn't bothering with it. math is for calculators. ]

Been on a lot of missions? [ He would guess a lot, in that amount of time, but what does he know? ]

Depends on your definition of a lot. [ she rolls her shoulders and she glances over at him, eyebrows raised. she is always interested in what the new people actually think the day to day life is like. ]

That's about right. [ is it? who knows. (bluff 49) she shrugs absently. ]

[ Hmm. Okay. Rolling with it then. ] So what's the most interesting thing you've done on a mission?

I dunno. I deposed a mayor. [ a beat, considering. ] That was kind of fun actually.

That does sound fun.

Was there anything you...always wanted to do on a mission, but haven't been able to yet?

[bittersweeter]

I wanted to go to Russia, but they already did that. [ not that the country isn't big enough to warrant another mission there. she's just a bitter ho. ]

[ Hmmm. Interesting place to want to go to. ] You know, of all the countries I've ever wanted to see, Russia was never on that list. I'm not saying it wouldn't be interesting, of course. Just...never thought of it.

There'll probably be another mission to Russian, though, I'd bet?
