The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[ INAPPROPRIATE INTENSIFIES. mmm, alice likes kisses so she is pretty into this, humming a pleased noise when his hand slides into her hair. her perfectly coifed hair, he better not ruin it.... oh well, fuck it. ]

Drawing back just enough to catch his breath, he lets out a low chuckle.]

[He pulls back further so that he can lean back his head and let out a long, hearty laugh. Yep, she's fun.]

I can get out of handcuffs before you'd even realized you weren't handcuffed to me anymore. Sort of like how I handcuffed you in the first place. [ smug, self-satisfied smirk. that horrible panic filled adventure has gotten the rosy tint of time. now it's just a nice story. ]

[ she lifts her eyebrows like what are you gonna do, frisk me? but then she dips into the low cut of the dress' bodice and tugs out a pair of handcuffs with a grin, letting them dangle from her pinky finger. ]

[Her grin is matched by his own.]

Always full of surprises. [He holds out a hand again, but this time to let her cuff him up if she'd like. Nothing can go wrong.]

[ snap, she slams them on to his wrists, tightening them swiftly and with ease. a second later she gives them a wiggle and they loosen and fall open, key palmed between her fingers so it just looks like handcuff magic. (sleight of hand 26 & escape artist 20 total) ] Ta da!
