The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

Vasilisa Dragomir. I prefer Lissa though. [ like please no, never call her vasilisa. only wynn is allowed to do that and thank god he just calls her sir dragomir. ]

I never lost it to begin with. I was born a vampire. There are vampires, the kind you're imagining, but I'm not like them. I'm not immortal for one thing.

Presumably. [ she bites back a little smile. ] Would you like to see them? Not my parents, they've passed. The fangs.

Oh! Uhm... sure. So long as it's more show and tell and not show and snack...

I don't bite people without their permission. [ and even then it's just max and faye. and that's rare. she smiles a little wider though, and her fangs show from behind her lips, tiny little pointy teeth, shiny and glossy white. she flosses. ]

Some, I've found, ascribe to the mythology out there. I don't. [ and the face she makes like UGH TRASH VAMPIRES would lead one to believe it would be dumb to do so. ] Moroi bring beauty and life to the world. Even our magic is meant to protect, not to harm.

Magic? [You said the magic word! Willow perks.] What kind of magic?

Elemental magic. Most Moroi specialize in one of the elements.

[Vampires with magic. Okay, this is so new.]</small. Which one do you specialize in?

Well, I didn't. I specialized in spirit. It's sort of a different kind of magic, but its what allows me to heal people. And I can still use all of the other elements.

[ to demonstrate, she makes a tiny fog bank over outstretched fingertips and then... evaporates it with a burst of flames. ]
