The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[Not that he actually knows the sort of help she usually offers. And not that she's actually totally okay with helping Spike, of all people. But this is what she's here for. And she can tell he's being sincere about being on the good guy path so...]

[Spike raises his eyebrows.]

What, now you want to help a bloodthirsty vampire? Aren't you worried I'll eat you?

I'm going to worry about that either way, so I might as well do some good before I potentially become lunch, right?

[He squints at her.] ...pretty sure there's some problems in that logic, pet. But I suppose there's always research to be done. You can ask Wynn.

[Willow is not at all concerned if Spike has a problem with her logic. What does he know anyway? But the idea of talking to Wynn about it seems to make sense. So she nods.]

I'll uh- see you around, I guess. [It's weird. It's still weird. And Willow will be side eying his existence here for awhile. But he at least seems genuine about wanting to do good things. Maybe she can ask Wynn about that too. She just has to get over how Wynn is incredibly intimidating and find the nerve to go talk to him. Oops.]

[He smiles at her, an almost friendly expression until he says:] Not if I see you first. [And heads off to mingle with other people!]
