[ It seems that Wynn was hoping for Sir Mark Sandazhard to reveal his true identity, and to lead the charge against Dimitris Sarandis' tyrannical hold over the island he was born to rule.   He was not disappointed, and Prince Marcus Andres stands poised to lead the group of Knights who he's worked beside for two years, to confront Sarandis, save their friend Kat, and search the castle dungeon for the captive Dragon's Claw, Sir Thomas Bancroft.    

Before they attempt to answer the castle, however, it's time to reunite the Prince with his childhood friends on the Isle, who had long held out hope that he was still alive, including his once-betrothed, Countess Lara Tamon.  Their first task will be to convince Lara to make a risky attempt to draw Kat out of the castle.  

The fate of their captured allies, and the future of Andres Isle, lie in their hands.  ]

[ The longer he goes on, the more Buffy’s expression contorts with thinly-restrained affection. Warmth glows behind her eyes, and tears steadily flood them until she has to actually pull her lips between her teeth to keep from crying, her whole expression trembling. Tugging her lips free from her teeth, her nose scrunches, and Buffy reaches over to grab onto Des’ hand, squeezing.

There are a lot of things she’s not sure about. What Dean had said about Lucifer, for starters. Whether or not they’ll even come back from Andres. What the state of their mission will be if they do. Even where she stands with Rafael, and don’t think she’s oblivious to the fact that Des name dropped him multiple times, or the reason why Des would do that.

What she is sure about is that when they touch down, she’ll be standing with her friends. And they’re going to be doing good, the work that she’s meant to do.

Slowly, she blinks back her tears, turning to rest her head on Des’s shoulder, leaning against him and settling in for the flight. ]
