The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[Lines crease her forehead as she considers Wynn's words and when she finally speaks, it may not be the response he's expecting but it's what has stayed with her these last three months, the reason she started looking at Dean differently.]

He's scared of flying. [Very matter of fact - and also probably not something Dean would want her telling Wynn but it was important, at least to her.

Meeting his gaze.] And then he turned around and boarded a flight from Chicago to London because I told him I needed his help.

As I said. I believe there to be much more to him than he would lead others to believe.

[Rose watches Dean for another long moment before speaking again.] Now if I can just get everyone else to see that.

I think he'll be the one who can prove that to them now.

He will... [Her gaze floats back to the sea of faces, Rose seeing one in particular that makes a frown momentarily touch her features but she at least manages to keep the 'if they give him a chance' to herself.]

Anyway, I just - [Wanted you to know I didn't have to bribe my boyfriend into joining the Knights?!] Wanted to check in. You kinda had, serious face going on when I came over but you kinda do that a lot so - [Rose just shut up.] I'll let you get back to that.
