The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[Yeah, his interest just degrades because of that. His smile fades a bit hearing that. He still try to keep it up though. Keep a smile on your face, and it will take you anywhere, right? Including but not exclusively to a bed, a sofa, or whatever place you are comfortable on.]

[He isn't sure whether his girlfriend has turn into a slime and he is trying to find a way to cure her or if he is running away from a obsessively attached girlfriend.]

She is going to kill him, isn't she?] Are you sure? Blond, looks pretty but actually scary, sometimes speaks with Russian accent Lila Zacharov? You are the police-guy?

[he seems fairly pleased that brantley appears to be ... horrified by his gf. that's how they roll.] Pretty sure I know my girlfriend's name. But yeah, that's her. And me. I was CSI.

[Yikes. Definitely pick the wrong person to flirt. One of the golden rules of staying alive in the underworld: Don't flirt with the Mafiya Empress' boyfriend.]

Oh wow, that's nice. I bet she is glad to see you here. [Awkward laugh. Time to escape, before Lila actually sees him flirting with her boyfriend.] Oh, how awful I am, bothering you like this, you must want to spend time with her. Let me help you look for her. And as I said, if you need anything, just call me. A boyfriend of her is a friend of mine. Have a good evening. [He hastily retreats with a forced smile.]
