Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

The Knight's new section head, Wynn, and their mentor Knight wait up at the front of the room for their approach, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.

Yes, actually! [ her smile widens, turning easier because talking about this is easy and she feels a trill of pleasure when stiles touches her. ] Cora won, she's really strong. Really strong.

[ and that kali girl didn't seem too fussed to have lost. she'd just cheerfully moved on to the next one. ]

If you can call them that. I mean, a lack of sect isn't ... really a sect, is it?

It is, kind of, I think. There's other people who didn't fit into one sect enough to choose it. That's a little bit like belonging to something bigger.

Ugh, I don't even know any good gossip anymore. [ she huffs, but starts to point people out. ]

That redhead is Lydia, she's from the same place as Stiles. [ lydia. ] She looks five seconds from a bitchfit, which I would pay to see. And pay whomever caused it, bless them. Cordelia -- [ she points her out. ] -- I'm pretty sure, wants to be the next Queen of Andres, which ended so well for the last one, but whatever.

[ um, she gives some more deets on dragon's tongue people, whether they be there or not. she only really knows anything about finnick and elena. explains that alex is her with a penis, which felicity probably already knows. a+ explanations. ]

[Cora's eyebrows go up a bit at that, eyes looking amused as they survey the food that Abigail brought over - even if she did miraculously manage to find vegetarian food at a Hide party.]

That's kind of like beer right?

but she came because willow issued an invite for her dress helping and she swans in like she owns the place, dressed to the nines. ]

[ okay, some of the people in the hide kind of scare the crap out of abigail and had cora not invited her, there is literally no way it would be humanly possible to get her to attend something like this. she can gut a grown man with little difficulty, but she is well aware of how weak and delicate she is, only made more obvious by the people she's currently surrounded by.

while cora is talking to someone else, abigail moves to get a refill of her soda, debating whether she should get something strong or not and deciding... yes, yes she will.

which she then promptly drops and spills all over the floor with a yelp when a grown man goes flying past her and into the bar. he seems uninjured as he jumps up and hurries back to the tiny blonde that threw him, but abigail stands there in mild shock with scotch and soda splashed all over her shoes. ]
