Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

The Knight's new section head, Wynn, and their mentor Knight wait up at the front of the room for their approach, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.

I was told I was still welcome to the Hoard's facilities, but if I had to choose, I'd rather spend missions eating caviar than sitting behind a computer screen.

I think it lessens the likelihood of parking behind a screen or getting shot at.

Even the less desirable missions sometimes require a diplomatic component. I just wouldn't put all your eggs in that basket, that's all.

How much I care about where I end up has little to do with whatever decision Wynn makes, I suspect.

It's funny, how many people will follow Wynn blindly into battle also make him sound so soulless.
