Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

The Knight's new section head, Wynn, and their mentor Knight wait up at the front of the room for their approach, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.

[ lissa looks a vision and absolutely delighted to have been inducted into her sect. fluttering around she makes a point to meet the clerics already in the sect that she maybe hasn't met yet and graciously thank them for accepting her into their sect.

[ lissa gapes for a second, but her head nods automatically. she is used to faye. and people just shoving alcohol in her hands. ]

[ oh whoa, whole bottle. she holds it awkwardly. ]

Are you sure? [ she looks so genuinely concerned about astrid's well being it would be comical (or creepy) if lissa didn't give off that air of being an angel or whatever. ]

Thoster just shows up out of fucking nowhere and picks Lissa up in a bear hug (str 20 total). Was he even invited? Oh well- if not, he is crashing.]

No. [ she is firm and she reaches out to take his hand gratefully. ] You had a lot to do with it. You were a tremendous help when I returned from Tibet.

I think it's that way for a lot of us. We all found our place to fit, even if it's not what most people would expect.
