Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.

The Knight's new section head, Wynn, and their mentor Knight wait up at the front of the room for their approach, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.

Well, there's my impulsive need to talk to people who clearly don't want to be talked to.

[She smirks a bit.]

Really - so this whole wallflower phone playing vibe is meant to act as a neon sign saying "Come talk to me"?

Well, it didn't stop you, now did it?

As I said. I'm nosy. But I figure all the diplomats and polite people probably are content to leave you by yourself.

So you're not a diplomat, or a polite person ... what does that make you, exactly? [at least he sounds more amused than annoyed ok.]

[She smirks a bit at that.]

The one with the sticky fingers.

Thief, huh? Didn't think there was a sect for that.

That's why I freelance. Best place for someone who's not really good with rules.

Makes sense. [he shrugs.] I'm sure there are other places I would've fit in, but tongue suits me fine.

[She shrugs as well.]

Whatever works for you. That's what it's all about, right?

I think so.

[She nods a bit in agreement before looking down at her empty glass.]

I'm going to get another drink. Should I leave you to your pixelated witch?

[ambitionist]

If you want. [shrug.] I'll still be around for a bit if you get bored enough to come back for round two.

[She raises her glass in return before nodding.]
