CLOSED ♔ knighting ceremonies
WHO || Wynn, Dovan, Koraith, Hasmed, Lis'sa, Solace, graduating squires, various members of the Knighthood, invited guests [closed]
WHAT || Full Knighting ceremonies for various squires
WHERE || Knight's Headquarters, the Great Hall
WHEN || Late September BACKDATED
HOW || Actionspam
Unlike the grandiose nature of the squiring ceremony each Knight undergoes upon their initial entrance into the Knighthood, the graduation to Full Knight status takes place in a much more intimate affair, between the Knight, their mentor, invited friends, and the members of the sect to which they will be inducted. There's no pompous music, no stolid rank and file, no elaborate march.
The Knight's new section head, Wynn, and their mentor Knight wait up at the front of the room for their approach, but the attitude of the ceremony is much more relaxed, full of smiles and light conversation on all sides. Of course, when Wynn speaks, people still hush. It's just how he rolls.
"Please kneel."
((Given the large amount of promotions occurring, we will not be doing individual posts/parties for each. Instead, please there are top comments on this post for each section's ceremonies, and each section's parties. Feel free to make Drakenet posts or plurks establishing your character's invited guests, and tagging into as much as you would like/handwaving as much as you'd like.))

[Because she thought it was expected of her whether she wanted to be here or not. Plus, knowing her luck, if she bailed, the only person she even told about this would show up and she'd feel like an ass for not being here.]

I would think that the appearance would be when you were knighted.

Are you... just... looking to pick apart everything I say and do or does that come naturally?

You could have just said that you were waiting for someone.

[Just, deadeyes as she fails that Will Save. (9)]

I wasn't judging.
[Because he's seen worse drinkers. It was just odd behavior and he's not the most socially inclined.]

[She was pretty sure he was being judgy but then, that's maybe because she feels like she should be judged for it.]

I was trying to indicate that you could join us, rather than standing at the bar by yourself. And not in a judging you for a drinking alone way more in a you don't have to be intimidated by us way.
[He's known people with worse drinking habits than Rose. He's lived with Vikings. It's not the drinking he was poking at.]

She at least manages to look marginally apologetic, maybe even a little grateful.]
Well, for what it's worth? [Lifting her shoulder in a shrug.] Not intimidated just - [WS 21 - Not today, she shakes her head.] Maybe next time.

Next time.
[And with that, off he goes. /scene]
