[alex has a laptop in his room and hence access to netflix/the internet, but sometimes he just wants to browse channels. so he pops into the tv room only to see thea.

Well golly, that's a relief. [he's just going to lounge back on his phone and play a game until she gets tired of preacher's daughters.]

[ it takes maybe six minutes before she rolls her eyes so hard she actually hurts herself and changes the channel to something far less stupid. ]

Good, I'd be seriously concerned if you could. [he glances up to see what they're watching now.] ... Storage Wars?

I just changed the channel! [ to any channel. but, irritated, she shoves the remote at him so he can change the channel for himself. god. ]

[he shrugs and flips through the channels, deciding to put it on ... cake boss.]

Oh come on, no. [ not new jersey. ] At least put on Eastenders. I want to know who killed Lucy Beale.

Oh, all right. [he flips back to eastenders for her. at least it's not preacher's daughters or w/e so he doesn't care.]

I think it's Abi. If someone was having an affair with my boyfriend, I might bludgeon her to death too.

[ no she wouldn't. but lol she is so into this storyline, it's precious. ]

I mean, it could be Lauren... if my best friend was sleeping with Walter, I-- [ she makes a face, oblivious to alex's lack of knowledge. ] Nope, that's gross, can't picture it.

Yes. [ she looks up at him and grins, gleeful and smugly satisfied. ] None of it makes sense and I can never keep the names straight, I think Abi might be Lauren's sister. But there is an Uncle Ben and I'm horribly invested in this crap.
