[ one of the castles surlier residents can be found most often haunting the castle bars - or hopping on his motorcycle to head into one in London. He's often smoking cigars as he downs ridiculous quantities of beer, and he rarely initiates conversation with anyone else.

[Good thing Rocket is a frequent staple of the bar and is equally unapproachable most days. They can be surly together.

Which is probably what's been happening for the last five minutes- both of them drinking at the bar in manly silence, until Rocket finishes his booze and decides that the comfortable silence needs to be broken.]

Think all those other prisoners we set loose back there are adjustin'?

[It's not really often that Rocket showcases genuine sympathy, but, you know, he had Logan pegged pretty early on into their adventure, so he figures either he will also feel a pang of sympathy about them or will understand why Rocket's bothering.]

[ he doesn't respond for a second, leisurely taking a drag off his cigar and blowing it out before he says anything. ] Think they don't have much of a choice, do they.

Unless they wanna pitch themselves off a bridge. [he waits until his glass is refilled and knocks back half, only to gag a bit as it burns going down (fort 13)] It's pretty temptin' prospect after awhile.

[ ahahhaa, it's a solid hit, but unfortunately logan is... more solid, so it probably ends up hurting nathan's knuckles while he's at it. ] You know, I think I almost felt that one.

[he rubs his hand, bc apparently punching admantium ... isn't fun?!?!?!] Yeah! Just let that windowlicker try to knock me out again! I'll knock him out back. And then we'll see who the tough guy is.

Pretty sure all you'd have to do is ask him, and he'd be willing to oblige.

[For once, Faith happens on Logan in one of the bars at the castle. Maybe it's raining and she's not really pro wet t-shirt contests springing up at every single bar she'd normally hit. Either way, she finds her way to one of them and recognizes the guy with the line of empty bottles next to him. Weighing her options of starting up a conversation with a guy that seems pretty content to not talk to anyone - she opts to just go for it. Mostly because she's curious about the blades he used on Andres and what better way to piss someone off than to openly ask them about something personal?

Okay, she's not going to start off with that question, but she'll still take a seat close-ish to him and gesture to the bartender for a beer.]

Starting out light? [in reference to the line of bottles he's already emptied.]

[ he ain't even pressed. ] Takes a lot more for me than for most people.

[Faith smirks.] I know the feeling.

That so? [ the comment seems to pique his interest a bit, at least, and he actually looks over, a moment of recognition in his eyes. he gestures towards her with the end of his cigar as he places her. ] From the prison.

[Look who else is a frequent bar staple. Malina manages to keep herself busy during the day, but she's trying to burn off a bad mood, so she spends probably one night a week in the company of a good bottle of scotch and ... well, not actively glaring at everything around her, but trying to dissuade anyone who may want to.

Unless, of course, they don't want to, because then she decides to take that as a challenge.]

[ her inability to get drunk unless she inhales two of three pitchers in quick succession deeply saddens kali, though it does not dampen her insatiable curiosity.

this curiosity is what brings her scooting on to the stool next to logan even though literally every other stool is free and leaning against the bar to look at him like the adorable personification of chinhands. ]

You smell like cold. Please explain in as much detail as you desire, why?
