[at some point when wynn makes one of his return trips to the castle, astrid catches sight of him and texts faye like QUICK GIRL WE HAVE TO DO THE THING. the thing being ... get promoted to dragon's claws somehow. nothing could possibly go wrong here. but she is lurking outside of the circle room for the moment, waiting for faye so that so she and faye can go in together. like girls going to the bathroom.]

Also, if no one is at the desk when you get here... assume she's sleeping. Or lost. Or kidnapped. Or... looking for more rubber cement. Feel free to fill in for her.

During these two months, you can find her doing one of the following things while she waits for something to do:

[option one

Nearly every day, Sam can be found returning to the castle from his daily run, despite the chill. He always seems to be in a pretty good mood, as if the adrenaline makes any stress he's feeling melt away, or perhaps he's just in higher spirits lately. We just don't know.

At least the colder weather requires heavier clothing, so he's not a ball of sweat when he comes back, and he's easily approachable for conversation, even if he's breathing a little fast.

For those that want to catch him in a more private setting, Sam spends a decent amount of time in his room, reading books for both work and pleasure, typing things up on his laptop or taking old school notes.

His room is pretty swag, too, so don't judge by the very bachelor-esque feel. That's more Dean's style, even if Sam got the room that fit that vibe better.

There's lots of other places you could find Sam. The library, gym, or the firing range are all good choices. Have at it.]

[Cora's been spending a fair amount of time in the library these days, just to try and learn all she can. Hales with books are not uncommon as far as Peter and Derek are concerned, but considering she spent a lot of her formative years on the run, her research skills aren't as good as most.

And without Belle or Willow around at the moment, she's just grabbing whatever books happen to seem like they're along the lines of the topic she's looking her for. When she meets Sam in the stacks, she's got a hefty stack of books as it is, though she doesn't seem to be struggling with it (strength 14, balance 21). What she's not doing, however, is looking where she's going.

This would be where she very nearly collides with Sam, books swaying as she comes to a very short stop, but she manages to keep herself, and them, from toppling over as she does (reflex save 20 total). Her head peeks out from around the stack and there's an apologetic smile to the very, very tall person she almost ran into.]

[Elena spends the vast majority of her time in either location either alone or with a select few, though when she's alone it can sometimes be difficult to find her. To people paying attention to here whereabouts, she seems to vanish for a couple days at a time, though this happens far less often when in the actual Castle back home, where her presence is more noticeable.

It's easier to vanish in places where you can be anyone and not get noticed, rather than a place where looking unfamiliar makes you stand out more instead of less. :)

Either way, as time passes, Elena seems to get more and more comfortable, rounding out a bit at the edges, her nerves not quite so frayed and her defenses not always quite so rigid.

The easiest places to find her are in her room, in the library reading, exercising in the gym (usually yoga), or at the firing range. Take your pick~]

[ archers are, without a doubt, the pickiest fighters on the planet. at least that's what is looks like if you take thea to be the end all be all. currently, there are no less than six bows spread around her in the firing range. it was early enough that when she went in after her morning run, she had the place to herself so she didn't thing about spreading out as she did her testing, mouth twisted in concentration.

her headphones are blasting some loud ass thumping music (it's common), but when she catches sight of elena, she tugs them free and lets them dangle over her shoulders as she moves to maybe take up less space and collect some of her bows. ]

DRAX THE DESTROYER | DRAGON'S HIDE WING | OTA

[Drax is moving his stuff into his new room. It's not very difficult. He doesn't own much (besides weapons) and he's strong enough that he can carry it all in one go. That part is easy.

The part that is a little difficult for him to wrap his brain around is the room itself. It's so... comfortable. Not that his squire room wasn't, but he wasn't there long before they were off to Andres and idk he probably just spent all that time in the gym or something who knows what Drax does when he isn't destroying it is a mystery. Maybe he never realized the room was for sleeping until Rocket showed up and explained. We just don't know.

He leaves the door open as he walks in and jumps his bag of possessions on a chair and goes over to poke the mattress, looking deeply disapproving of how soft it is. Do people usually sleep on mattresses this comfortable? He's used to space ship cots and prison cells. This seems like a ridiculous amount of luxury.

He shakes his head scornfully and goes to put away his stuff. Either he'll get used to it, or he'll get rid of the mattress. It's still just strange for him, living in a big fancy castle instead of on the fringes of society.]

[Rocket cannot actually whistle, so he has to actually verbalize a sound like sort of sounds like a whistle. It's about as great as his fake laugh, but it serves the purpose of alerting Drax's attention to the doorway where the raccoon is currently leaning.]

[So after a certain point, Des's Rafael Giovanni desperation led him to idle google searches, which led him to Rafael's fanclub website (research 16), where he learned the name of said fan club's president. And through the power of being a good detective, he managed to hunt her down (gather information 34). He's not one to really believe in fate, but as he walks back into the castle for the first time in ages, he's a little struck by how weirdly coincidental it is that said fan club president may have connections to the Knights.

He doesn't really know what he expects her to do, honestly, but it's better than nothing, so he steps up to the first person he sees and taps them on the shoulder.] 'Scuse me. Is Alainn O'Rourke around?

[London; Early November- OTA]

[For awhile now, Des hasn't really thought about his mortality. Andres was his big concern and surviving that has made him feel... well, not so much invincible, but it's pushed the thought to the back of his mind.

At a pub he's known to frequent, it sort of hits him again, as he flashes his ID and the bartender gives him a sly look. "Got a birthday this month, do you?"

Des actually has to turn his ID around to get a better look at his own- fake, but its own way of counting the years- birthday and is suddenly struck by the realization.]

...Yeah. Guess I do.

[Des can also usually be found in his hotel room in London throughout November, if he's needed, because I am terrible at OTA prompts, apparently.]

[As luck would have it, she just so happens to be the first person he runs into, as it's one of the handful of days she is back in London. She turns, eyes landing on his hand then up to his face, a smirk on her lips.] Depends on who's asking, love.

[She faces him fully after a moment, arms crossing with her head cocked to the side.]

[it's cold outside, but that isn't stopping paige from messing around out there. she's bundled up against the chill and is presently circling the castle grounds with what appears to be the bastard child of a bear and a dog.]

Oh, goodness gracious, look at it, Henley. [She's talking to the dog. I repeat, she's talking to the dog... and herself, as she looks at the castle from all angles, taking in how breathtaking it looks all covered in snow.] Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?

[Despite being a fierce opponent of snow and all it's forms, after six months in Siberia ... she actually sort of missed it. Don't tell Gus that, he will never let her hear the end of it, no matter if he's an ocean away.

She's taking Harry out for his usual exercise routine, letting him fly up high over the fields, when her attention is drawn to the sound of a voice and then she can't help but smile at the sheer size of the dog.]

[Grimrot doesn't begrudge Belle her time away from the library. Her knowledge local of 19 means she's got the basic situation and probably at least a good handful of the messy details. Belle needs space, and right now that means that only a monster would bother her about something as trivial as the state of the library. Grimrot has worked long and hard to not be a monster.

That being said, the library is a mess. Grimrot's not sure that all of the knights who come through even realize that there is an order to the alphabet. She's also not sure they realize that there are shelves for the express purpose of holding books. Really, it's startling that they can read at all.

So one day in early November she finally takes it upon herself to re-instate order. I'm not sure what you roll for organizing library books, but she got a nat 20, so she's really good at it. It may not be the way Belle would have done it, but it's clear and neat and a huge improvement over the mess from before. And now Grimrot can actually find books she wishes to read! Really, what more could she ask?]

[Somewhere during the organization process, Bambi wanders in and picks up one of the books that's been separated out, flipping through the pages idly.]

So the Bookpocalypse has come at last. I have prepared my entire life for this moment. The Four Librarians of the Apocalypse shall ride and leading the charge will be E.L. James on a gray stallion, screaming about unleashing everyone's inner goddess.

[ preface to the following: violet is the daughter of the goddess of spring. no where in persephone's collection of sacred things and stuff is there a clause that her children will be good at crafts.

which is why it may be peculiar that vi has decided to build a cradle with her bare hands. she needs something to do with her time, alright, she goes nuts if she has too much time on her hands and with winter swiftly approaching, she's trying to cut off her lolling around uselessly. the only reason she stays on andres is because she wants to support mark.

over the course of the month of november, she can be found in the woods of andres chopping down trees and conversing with unseen nature spirits to make sure that the tree she is taking an ax to is not a dryad. she's small, but she wields the ax with surprising ease (str 20 total) and make quick work of quartering the wood she won't be using. the next step brings her to a jury-rigged set up just outside the woods where she saws the wood into planks, sanding them carefully by hand until they're smooth as satin and not likely to give a tiny little baby huge ass splinters.

actually putting the cradle together is not going as well. her brain isn't made to read blueprints and templates so she has some struggle trying to do so and oftentimes consults with a local wood worker for help, but not accepting any help for the actual building of the cradle. it's not that she doesn't trust him, it's just that she wants to do it on her own. and maybe it's a little bit that she wants to build this to prove that she's capable of doing at least one thing for luthir's kid.

[He hasn't seen Vi in a while, mostly because they probably run in different circles, but when he sees her working on the cradle, he can't help but wander his way over, hoping that he can provide some kind of help, even if it isn't immediately obvious.]

[ Unlike most of the knights, Matt has actually lived on Andres. He knows people there, worked with them, lived with them, so he has a truly invested interest in making sure that they get back on their feet. He spends a good bit of time there then, helping out with more of the clean up, and getting things back in order as well as he can. Sometimes, he even goes back to check on his old bar.

He tries not to raid the stock though. ]

[ He's still trying to get used to this whole knights thing. It's kind of crazy, big old castle full of a pretty weird bunch of people. It's not bad though, and he kind of likes it. Still, he spends quite a bit of time in the gym, or going for a run around the grounds.

Being back in London is weird for him, he's close to where he used to live, but worlds away. He does his best not to think of his old friends. He could go and see them but he doesn't expect it would end well.

So throughout November he's there, getting used to the place, and getting himself properly settled. ]

[ ella is in the gym when matt finds her. she's tiny and, despite her violent tendencies, knows better than to drive into hand to hand or melee combat, but she also tends to ....fall off ropes? and they tend to crop up a lot in her missions. so she is on this strength training train.

which is probably comical to watch a tiny little thing doing curls with tiny little weights. cutie. she looks up when matt walks in. ] Heya Matt.

[ Alisha has zero interest whatsoever in going back to Andres.

It isn't that she doesn't care, she just... doesn't care like a lot of other people do. She did her bit, and she's glad that shit's over with.

What she has decided, though, is that she needs to get in with people a bit more here. She's not used to not being part of a group, even if the last group she was a part of was frankly a bunch of weird twats.

But then that's why she's doing her upmost to put herself out there, makeup on point (nat 20) and looking damn fine if she does say so herself. She's decided she's going drinking at some swanky bars in central London. She's a girl on a mission. Just one with less death. ]

[After connecting that paladin powers = cleric powers, sorta kinda, the research duo of Cora and Willow are off to the Dragon's Light wing to track down a cleric to ask a few questions to. Cora specifically has Risa in mind, considering that she is the one that she heard Lan's story from, so maybe she can help put it into context without having to explain too much.

The last thing she wants is to draw more attention to Lan than already has been. So eventually she tracks the woman down and steps up with a small smile.]

[After a very eventful October, Cora's basically sticking to the castle, rather than bouncing back and forth to Andres. It's easier when she keeps being called back for missions, and there's not really a lot left for her to do. She's much more useful and feels a lot more productive staying where she is.

Most of that productivity is confined to the library more often than not. She's curious about the different kinds of magic involved in this world, and trying to learn fast, with stacks of books in front of her involving werewolves, paladins/clerics and enchantment spells. Why she's looking into all these things? You'll have to ask her. Whether or not she'll answer remains to be seen, but probably not. She's not really a gossip. She also might be trying to look into things related to Barrick the Glutton but considering Helen didn't find a lot she's not getting her hopes up.

Eventually she'll take this to Drakenet and I'll roll research checks, but for right now she's just reading.

She can also be found outside though not as frequently as she had been formerly. She's a California girl through and through and winter is cold but she does go out to see Mellie the bear, and being outside, even in the cold, is better than being cooped up indoors. She's also outside for the full moons to help Liam, which are on November 6th and December 6th. Feel free to hit her up for either, and find her bundled up in her leather jacket with her hands shoved tight in her pockets, making faces at the snow if there is any.]

[will has been spending the last few months in between andres and the castle. but since there's not a whole lot of csi: andres isle going on, he prefers to just … go back to the castle and get back to his routine. as usual, he can be found fishing by the pond, going over various files in the hoard wing, the firing range, and walking the grounds with 5 million dogs. literally 5 as of after thanksgiving. and probably some of faith's tagalongs, lbr.

since he was out on thanksgiving, they have their own special thanksgiving once he's home. which is with thanksgiving food u know he didn't prepare himself and all those dogs. idk what you were expecting from this starter ok. ]

[Kate comes down to the firing range more often than not, wanting to keep her skills sharp whenever she can. After being promoted she knows what the next steps are - squires, more missions, more proving herself but that's not something she's too worried about. Whatever's coming, she'll be ready for it.

She glances back when she hears someone coming in as she changes her target, just wanting to be aware of who's around so that she isn't taken by surprise. She's not out to deter him, however, just giving him a small smile.]

[It's fair to say that Malina spends the better half of November annoyed. Not at the world in general, but mostly at one person and that person is Augustus Harrison, who is absolutely getting full name treatment because that little shit is running away from his problems.

Again.

She should have known that he was planning something like this, considering the way he managed to suffer through her birthday, but the fact that he's disappearing without saying a word (again) is enough to rub her the wrong way, and it shows on her face whenever anyone who's known her long enough happens to catch her. What she's not doing this time, however, is following him.

She's got responsibilities here. She needs to attend to them. She also has a squire to orient, so yelling at her best friend, as much as she may want to, is going to have to wait until the new year.

That being said, she can probably be found at any of the usual places: Dragon's Fire wing, kitchen, a bar or outside with her red tailed hawk, Harry, circling above her in the daylight. Towards the end of the day she can also be found in the TV room, watching awful, awful action movies and laughing as the bad guys get blown up.

If anything, it makes her feel better.]

[One of the few days that Alainn comes back to London would find her out on the grounds for some air herself, her own red tailed hawk Fede perched on her shoulder. She's quick to spot Malina and Harry, though she doesn't recognize the other woman off the bat.

[Alainn spends a few days every month back at Knights HQ, mainly in the Dragon's Fire library studying new spells and checking up on her friends still in the castle. And it's nice to sleep in her own bed every now and then. She also haunts the kitchens in the castle, cooking extravagant meals for anyone who would partake, or sometimes filling the place with desserts of every kind (Craft cooking 22). But after a few days she's off again to Andres, driven there by her need to help, as always accompanied by her familiar Fede, a large red-tailed hawk.]

Andres

[When on Andres she continues her routine of cooking and cleaning for Lan, and she can be seen coming and going from the woods with a basket filled with various things every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in the mornings, only re-emerging as the sun is setting, hoisting the same bulging basket with food and clothes and cleaning supplies.

Every morning she can be found jogging around different parts of the Isle, her bird soaring above her head. She helps where it's needed, cooks when it's her turn, and gets to know as many of the locals as possible, mainly focusing on the Shadow Village.

The one place she really can't be found is anywhere near the castle or it's grounds, unless summoned there for one reason or another, and even then she would try her hardest to get out of going, offering up one excuse after another. If she can't avoid the castle then she is wary, keeping her eye out for something or someone, ducking around a corner or into another room if the object of her wariness is seen. Also she is more noticeably subdued than usual, her smiles coming as more strained, her laughter a rare thing to hear.

Some of her downtime is spent in one bar or another, drinking quietly in a dark corner booth with a book and whatever special of the day the kitchen is offering.

At one point in the middle of November she leaves both places altogether for a mission with a small party of fellow Knights, returning in a lighter mood than she's been in for some time.

[Andrew stays back at the knights castle mostly. He can't really help with construction, and it doesn't take long at all to get the island set up with a good security system. So he just hangs around the castle and does his normal thing.

Mostly fix the computers in the lab and help Zero out.

But one day he's headed for the kitchen when he smells something so good. Coming around the corner, he's practically drooling.]

Tell me there's enough to share of whatever that is. [Andrew's parents were in the knights and he and his brother have been with the group for about 5 years now, so this may not be the first they've run into each other. Besides, there's some Irish solidarity, right?]

[Much like the month previous, Jordan can be found anywhere Faye is, whether on Andres or in London. They are with each other so often that it's easy to mistake their relationship for something real and for all appearances they are happy together.

In the few times they aren't tied to each other he is more often than not found in the library on Andres, surrounded by his usual stack of books.

When not in the library he can be found hanging out with his sister Fiona, more than likely making sure she doesn't skip meals or get herself into too much trouble. In those moments his mood seems to lighten, seeming like some weight has been lifted from him. The one thing you wouldn't see is him mixing Faye and Fiona in company together.

Some evenings find him out taking a walk around the perimeter of the grounds, bundled against the cold and distracted enough that he doesn't hear anyone approaching until they're nearly upon him.

[Helen frequents the library on a regular basis, using reference books to confirm the research she does on various samples from creatures encountered in the field. The library on Andres is fascinating to her, to see just what tomes are located here. She's likely seen Jordan here or there, but never struck up a conversation. Today, she smiles as she puts a book back on the shelf.]

[ one of the castles surlier residents can be found most often haunting the castle bars - or hopping on his motorcycle to head into one in London. He's often smoking cigars as he downs ridiculous quantities of beer, and he rarely initiates conversation with anyone else.

[Good thing Rocket is a frequent staple of the bar and is equally unapproachable most days. They can be surly together.

Which is probably what's been happening for the last five minutes- both of them drinking at the bar in manly silence, until Rocket finishes his booze and decides that the comfortable silence needs to be broken.]

Think all those other prisoners we set loose back there are adjustin'?

[It's not really often that Rocket showcases genuine sympathy, but, you know, he had Logan pegged pretty early on into their adventure, so he figures either he will also feel a pang of sympathy about them or will understand why Rocket's bothering.]

It's not as if Faith has a lot to do in London. Sometimes the accent trips her up or they say something that really means something else and she just blankly stares at them until they fill her in on the fact that the lift is the elevator. She still manages to find the bars and knows where she can go and just not care about the people that accidentally grope at her.

Truthfully, she's needed an outlet for a lot of different things. Once things in Andres were slightly settled enough that she feels like she can head out and try to blur the edges of the things she saw - she does just that. Bars where she drinks too much and shoves people a bit too hard. Clubs where the music drowns out social commentary and the lights make it hard to tell where one person starts and the other begins. Dive diners where the plate kind of slides toward you a bit more than it should when they set it down on the table.

castle: part i

This is the part where Faith comes home from all of those late nights. She smells like smoke and that sickenly sweet scent that clings to someone when they've been in a club with a smoke machine that boasts colors and flavors. If you catch her on a night when she's only gone out to get food - she might even have a bag of food as she heads to the kitchen to attempt and shove it into the fridge.

The days she doesn't head out into the city, she's actually punching things or trying to get Liam to punch things. The weather isn't too cold, so she might even be outside on the grounds running. With the amount of energy she has on a daily basis, she's not going to slow down just because she doesn't have anything to fight.

[Cora liked Faith already, considering that she's one of the people who brought her into the Knights. She also knows that she's Liam's mentor so she wants to check in on her with regards to that too, since Cora is working on him getting a handle on the wolfy part.

So she will wander over while Faith is working out, giving her a small smile to get her attention.]

[ dean's haunts are probably pretty predictable.

he spends more time in rose's room than his own b/c it's less frilly and has an awesome tv.

he hangs out in the castle bars a lot, indulging his alcoholism.

he's a big fan of the castle armory, and loves testing out weapons of all kinds, so you can find him in the training room hefting a broadsword with a childlike smirk on his face, or on the firing range with a bottle next to him to drink out of between targets.

he's also pro-all this free castle food, so he eats regularly in the dining hall, can sometimes be seen creating walking heart attacks in the kitchen of his own, and can even be caught one evening about to have a food-eating contest with felicity. ]

[Even Rose spends more time in her own room now that it's no longer the pink assault on her eyeballs that her Squire quarter had been and seeing as Dean does the same, Rose thought maybe an addition or two might be a necessity.

Okay, just one really and she's leaning over it as she pushes the door to the room open, the large cardboard box probably on the heavy side if the sweat that beads across her forehead is anything to go by.]

[While the Winchester Brothers (not!brothers) play a game of keeping their distance, Rose sticks around Andres for the majority of November, helping out where she can but it's reaching the point where there's less to be done, Rose finding she has enough time on her hands to actually take in the sights of Andres, or at least take in the pastries at a bakery she's discovered.

The shadow she picked up last month is still around only now she has friends and should you happen to catch Rose going for her morning jog through Andres, you will probably spot her entourage of three or four little girls lagging behind. This is what happens when you teach little girls how to punch their brother and get away with it.]

[When Thanksgiving draws near, Rose is called back to London for a Mission in New York so maybe you'll have a chance to catch her around the Knights headquarters before she heads to the city she has so many fond memories of (hahahah ahh), more than likely in the armory or the training room but her fancy new bedroom with its television that Dean seems to think she should watch more of does see her hanging out there quite a bit. Or maybe it's just that Dean is there. Probably doesn't hurt.]

[As Rose is taking one of her morning jogs Alainn would fall in beside her, easily keeping pace. She grins at Rose, eyes twinkling with mischief.] Top o' the mornin' to ye, Rose. Want a little more company?[She nods her head to the back, gesturing to the little entourage Rose seems to have acquired.]

[at some point early in November, shortly after Des has conscripted Alainn to get him tickets to a Rafael Giovanni show, Des finally gets up the gumption to hunt down Buffy and inform her of the situation. It may give her false hope, since it's not a sure thing, but considering Buffy hadn't wanted to go in the first place, he expects the extra ticket he'll be getting out of it will be refused.

Still. It feels like he has to offer, which is why he hunts her down. Unsurprisingly, in the gym.]

So how's your Save Sam Winchester campaign going?

Not as well as I'd like. He's ... I mean, he wants to deal with it himself. I can't help him: Dean has to. And Dean ...

[ Sigh. The shake of her head says it all: it's a mess. A bonafide hot mess. ]

I don't wanna think about it right now.

[ So she goes back to pounding on the heavy bag. ]

I'm glad you're here. [ Punch. Punch. Those seem more aggressive than glad. ] I wanted to talk to you. [ Crescent kick. ] Spike had me thinking. [ And down the bag comes with a final forward kick that knocks it right off its reinforced chain. ]

[ thea hasn't been around long enough to have particular places she hangs out in, but she does spend a lot of time in the training room. whether she's taking on a punching bag or using her katana to slice up practice dummies, there is an obvious sense that she's getting her aggression out. other times she can be spotted running miles and miles around the castle, trying to siphon pent up energy away. she starts to notice the other runners in the castle, but she tends to keep to herself when she's running.

not so much when she stops and sets upon the kitchen to inhale all the calories she just worked off.

downtime is spent flipping through the channels in one of the tv rooms because she doesn't have a tv in her room :( and texting. so much texting. sometimes she can be caught with a bowl of popcorn, but she's usually on her way to deliver the popcorn to her stupid brother so don't you dare touch it or she will slap your hand right off.

and every so often when family feels threaten to topple her, she parks herself in one of the bars (probably the old man bar since they're least likely to talk to her) and gets herself a nice little buzz going. such coping. ]

[alex has a laptop in his room and hence access to netflix/the internet, but sometimes he just wants to browse channels. so he pops into the tv room only to see thea.

and then he plops himself down right next to her. :) ]

[Sam has no idea if she's even in town after he gets from his Thanksgiving mission, but he figures it can't hurt to check.

A lot of things have come to light since the last time he saw her, and their paths haven't crossed since, which made sense considering his rather obvious decision not to go back to Andres after their trip to Chicago.

So the morning after he gets back, he's trekking over to her room in the Castle and knocking on the door. If she isn't there, he'll check a few other spots, like the dining area in case she's gone to get breakfast or the training room, in case she's punching stuff.]

[ By the time December rolls around, Buffy's back at the castle—at least on and off. Rebuilding was all well and good, but everyone needs a break at some point. There's only so much space on Andres, and Buffy's not the biggest fan of crowds these days.

So she's in her room when Sam knocks, idk jazzercising. She shuts the TV off and heads over to swing the door open, brightening when she sees him. ]

[besides his brief guest appearance for the finnryi wedding, alex is perfectly content to keep his ass back at homebase. his new room is awesome and has a balcony just for him to do all his contemplative smoking on. just like november, his favorite hangout spots are pretty much the firing range and the airfield. who's a licensed pilot now?? he is awww yea.

until around late december, when he seems mopey as fuck. it's a little late for seasonal affective disorder … but whatever, he decides to make himself feel better by buying a brand new gunmetal grey xterra. which adds the garage to his list of frequent haunts. IT'S A BRAND NEW CAR IT'S NOT EVEN LIKE HE HAS TO ~WORK ON IT~ he just likes to be with it ok.]

[ kali is actually working in the garage, not just basking in the presence of the cars and suvs. the cold doesn't seem to bother her, so she's in her normal jeans and spider-man tee shirt combo and bright pink flip flops. this is what happens when a child soldier is given free reins in the wardrobe department.

she pushes herself out from underneath the suv she's fiddling with when she hears someone come in and looks up at alex from the ground with a grease stain on her cheek. ]

Hi. Would you mind grabbing that torque wrench I threw in a fit of frustration?
