[Well hello, ladies... Faith grins as she sees the shine of metal and hears the slightest sound of metal against metal. They are pretty damn incredible and not that she'd want something like that herself, but they really have to be convenient. Except in airports.]

I haven't. [She's pretty much talking to his hand at this point, canting her head and looking - but not touching.]

Most people haven't. It can cut through almost anything.

Almost anything? Lemme guess, just not itself? [Her hand lifts, but then she closes her fingers into a fist.]

Can I touch them?

Why is it people always ask that?

Because it's rude to just manhandle them? [Faith sits up a bit straighter, looking directly at him.]

And I'm not sure why people ask, but I'm asking because I prefer knives and blades and I'm curious.

They feel sharp. So watch it. [ i guess that's not a no??? ]

I'd be kinda disappointed if they weren't. [One hand moves to support his hand, it's a gentle hold, though. No mandhandling here, she just doesn't want to press and have unsteady movement. They are sharp, after all.

She's careful, though and she feels the thinness of the metal then slides her touch along the top of the blade to the tip. Canting her head as she lets her fingertip push against the tip. It's the most sexual description of touching a blade I've ever written...

She does let it break the skin at the tip of her finger, but she'll heal. Smirking, she lets go of his hand and puts the bleeding fingertip pressed against her thumb.]

It'll heal and those are amazing.

[ well, he's hyperaware of the way she's taking her time with them, watching her with a difficult to read expression on his face. ] ... They get the job done.

[It's not like she was looking at his face anyway... but now that she's done examining his blades, she smirks and sucks the tip of her finger, making sure that it's done bleeding - which naturally it is.]

I bet they do.

[ he stares at her for a second, before there's a sudden snikt sound, and he retracts the claws back into his hand, the skin healing over instantly. ] I can tell you wanna ask, so get it over with.

If you already know what I'm gonna ask why didn't you just answer? Save me all the trouble.

[She grins.]

C'mon, neither of us are gonna get anywhere near drunk enough for this to fall into that stage where I giggle too much and keep touching you. Plus, I've never been that girl. Pretty sure I never want to be that girl, either.

Right now I just wanna see how long it'd take to tire one of us out. If you're up for that. Otherwise, I'll just get another drink.

[ he raises an eyebrow at her, something close to a smile creeping up his cheek as he lets that hang there a moment before he says -- ] ... I thought you were gonna ask where they came from. [ ahem ]

[She shrugs.]

They're there now. I don't need to know where they came from. I've never really been into history.

[He didn't say no - which is something. She'll finish up her drink and gesture to the bartender to bring her another.]

[ her answer actually makes him chuckle, and he reaches for his beer again to take a swig ] You strike me as more of an 'in the moment' kinda girl.

You would be correctly struck. [She makes a face... is that even right? Eh, who cares. The bartender brings her another and she starts to drink that one.]

[ while she takes that drink, his eyes trace down over her briefly, appreciatively. ] Can't say I mind.

You want some real action, we could always see if you could keep up in the training room.

[She takes another drink, thinking about it. It's not what she wanted, but she does want to do something. Setting the drink down, she turns toward him and shrugs.]

Alright.

Maybe I want to make sure you can keep up. [ he finishes his as well, and then gets up ]

[She slides off the barstool and gets right into his personal space, looking up at him.]

Oh, don't worry about little ol' me.

Something tells me you're exactly the kind of woman a guy should worry about. [ not that he sounds put off by the fact, tbh. he doesn't shy away, smirking down at her for a second, before nodding to the door with his head ]

Probably. [She smirks and then turns out of his personal space and heads toward the door. Faith isn't the type to do that whole sway when she walks type (the lack of pronounced hips probably doesn't help) - so the view is just the usual view of her walking as she heads toward the training room... or the gym... or whatever is closer.]

[ well the gym is part of the training room so that's the one! and it is, by some miracle, basically empty. logan follows behind her, looking around as they enter. ] Awful quiet.
