Look. [ he sets the gun down, turning towards her more fully ] I'm not gonna pretend anything I've done in my life has been sunshine and roses. A lot of times hunting down monsters means pulling the trigger, or swinging the blade. And I'm good at that part of it. Always have been.

But I'm not the cold blooded killer you might think I am. I've done things I'm not proud of too, and they've stuck with me.

How seriously do people take this 'team leader' crap?

On missions? In times where the team is divided, they may look to the team leader for directive. Most missions are a collaborative effort, though- where all voices are heard.

Picking up her Excalibur, helen checks to see if he has any more questions before firing off a series of shots, all of which hit the target, varying in how lethal the shot would be. But she does get one super sweet nat 20 in the middle of the bunch. So at least she's not all talk.]
