[It takes Myri a few days to make sure everything is perfect. In the wake of the late October wedding, she has news! And per Finnick's suggestion, they want to deliver it similarly to how they brought up their engagement.

So the pair of them work with the chefs at Mark's palace to recreate the IHOP menu, which is really what takes the longest, because nailing a Rooty Tooty Fresh 'N Fruity is hard work okay... But they manage it! So in early November, Myri texts the usual suspects and tells them she has breakfast prepared in the dining room.

Which I assume involves a super fancy long table and gold plated china. It's the fanciest IHOP breakfast ever! Sitting right in the middle with her husband, Myri grabs another slice of french toast and does her best to not just... blurt out the surprise right away. Stuffing her face with delicious breakfast is a good way to pace herself on good news.]

[ alice flutters between andres and london because... she can? so she does. that's really the only reason she darts back and forth. she's taken with the tiny shadowkind though and when on andres, she can often be found teaching a sleuth of bugbear cubs yoga. that's right. bugbear cubs are learning yoga. (when she's not teaching them to pick locks.) they seem to like it and alice enjoys it herself, so it benefits everyone. especially the bugbead parents who get sleepy, relaxed babies who fall right to sleep.

she does teach other people, but the little bugbear family seems attached to the ginger woman.

when she jets back to london, it's mostly to do the same thing only by herself in the rec rooms. she also spends a lot of time in the computer lab skyping with her brother very late at night to make up for the time difference. sometimes she can be found in the Dragon's Hide wing trying to figure out a weapon that suits her. other times she's in the kitchen making ramen like a lazy college student or in the Dragon's Light wing stabbing herself with needles! yay! once she's in the castle, she's basically anywhere. it is a mystery. ]

[Alice isn't the only one looking for a weapon that suits her. Since Bambi is notoriously crap at guns and doesn't have much strength behind her, she's looking for something that's easily handled but lethal. The polearms look too unwieldly and big, the axes are right the fuck out, and she can't see herself wielding a sword. She picks up a morningstar and makes a face at it.]

God, is it so hard to ask for a weapon that is efficient and doesn't look like it fell out of the dark- [she turns to see who is also here with her and balks when she recognizes Alice, whom she... sorta hasn't spoken to since she saved her life] -ages.

[Malina is in the kitchen, fixing what is looking to become a monster of a sandwich. She's got an assortment delicious lunch meats, cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato and a long Italian roll, along with oil and vinegar off to the side. She's trying to recreate a sandwich she used to get in a little deli back in New York.

She's been trying to recreate it for ten years. Eventually, one day, she'll figure that she'll get it right.

She glances up when Alice comes in, however, and pauses in her layering to smile.]

[Sweets's office is a fairly small one in the Dragon's Light wing, but that's fine because he doesn't need a lot of space. There's a desk in one corner with a computer where he keeps his notes and records of the knights he's worked with, and he manages to keep it all pretty tidy.

In the main area of the room is a set of two chairs where he holds most of his sessions. He tries to keep a schedule of when people are coming in, and if he's with someone for a session, the door to his office will be closed, with a sign reading SESSION IN PROGRESS in front of it. Otherwise, his door is open, and you're free to see inside, which will sometimes occasionally include him "practicing" with a sword he may have gotten out of the training room.

He's not very good at it. There's a reason they don't send him on missions. But he is a knight and likes to play into the fantasy when he can.

As it gets closer to the holiday season, he is absolutely getting into the holiday spirit. Decorations litter his office, and he may even be dressed for the occasion. So feel free to drop by any time to talk to him. He's more than happy to listen.

In fact, he's all ears.]

[Jordan is wandering through the castle, antsy to get out of the library and needing to stretch his legs. All his wandering has brought him to the Light wing, a section he's never actually been in before. It's very peaceful in here, quiet in a way that is different than the library.

So he's surprised when he hears what sounds like someone clanging around in one of the offices and heads that way, curiosity piqued. As he pokes his head around the door frame he can't help the chuckle that escapes as he takes in the sight of Sweets "practicing" with a sword. If you can call it that.

He leans against the frame, arms crossed as he speaks up.] Need some pointers?

[ Once the better part of the rebuilding process is complete, Lydia opts to stay in London. It's not that she's given up on Andres, per se, but rather, she doesn't feel like they need the round-the-clock Knight support anymore, and she doesn't believe much in training wheels.

She doesn't make much effort to disguise the time she spends with Damon over fall, but he's gone as quickly as he'd returned following the battle, and when he does leave, she doesn't miss him. It was never about that. In fact, she gets more work done, continuing her research into Faerun, and her particular interest in banshees.

Until she doesn't.

On Halloween, she's shipped out with some others to take care of a mission that should be easy. Key word: should. Carol, Cora, Archer, Sydney, and Lydia take two days to complete the mission, but when she comes back, she's peppered with bullet holes and lays up in the Dragon's Light Wing for three days recovering.

Physically recovering, that is.

For a girl who'd been quite set on not seeing combat, it's jarring to be thrown into the middle of it and riddled with bullets. She'd gotten by, but not as well as she should have. Not as well as she'd need to if it happened again and Cora and the others weren't there to watch out for her. She'd had Rose in Wales, Stiles on Andres, and Cora at the candy factory, but she couldn't keep relying on others when she was just as liable to be shot, and they can't fight that for her.

So she makes good on her agreement with David to seek him out for training after that, though she still has little idea of where someone of her particular skills is best suited to start. This time, instead of being fueled by a petty desire to somehow challenge Stiles' claim to someone's acquaintance, it's legitimate desire to train and fight. ]

[Allison had stayed behind in Andres, probably longer than they needed, but she made it back for Astrid's party and then when she went to track down Lydia - she heard she'd been off on mission. When her friend returns, she makes sure to track her down -- she's just a bit upset that Lydia needs time to recover.

Knocking on the door, she offers a smile.]

Do you need rest or can I come spend some of your recovery time keeping you company?

[Knowing that Lydia had been sent out on a mission at the tail end of October, Stiles asks around to get an idea of what happened and how it went. He finds the right people and gets exactly what he needs to freak out and rush back to London (gather info 25).

It's the day after she's returned from the mission, and while his poking around also gave him some information on Damon- and Max had sure spilled the beans about taking Lydia out on a date that wasn't a date... he doesn't care about any of that right now. He's just worried about her.

Pushing open the door to her room, he's quiet as he stands in the entryway.]

Hey- I heard... How are you feeling?

[Which is better as far as David is concerned. She should be doing this for her, not for some kind of social squabble. When she comes in he starts with the basics, which for right now is pretty much the same skill set as Stiles, learning how to move. Which means they start with a heavy bag and throwing a punch.]

It's not just about throwing your arm - it needs to move throughout your entire body to keep the power behind it. You'll want to hold your stance, and throw from your hips, not your shoulder.

Obviously, they've never been to college. [she bites into a cookie.] Something tells me you're not cramming for a final, though.

[It's no mistake when Faye finds her. She's a woman on a mission and the late hour serves her well since she doesn't need many other prying eyes or ears nearby.]

[Words she practically spits out. Words she never wants to use. Especially not to this crazy robot bitch who almost killed someone important to her. But she knows how smart glados is. She can't deny that she might be the only one who can help her now.]

[ she may have a credit card with no limit and the whole city of london at her disposal, but fiona still prefers acquiring the bulk of her wardrobe from the castle's lost and found. it's like thrift shopping: there's always something unique and awesome to be found. today, she's adding this hat and jacket to her current attire. she's a punk rocker at heart. ]

[Jordan just happens to come upon her as she is liberating some lost articles of clothing from the bins, brows raising as he takes in her colorful clothing choices. She definitely made a fashion statement on the daily.

He chuckles, crossing his arms to lean against the wall.] So I'm guessing you didn't lose those originally?

[ so one completely random thursday in november that has absolutely no american cultural significance, lila grabs faye and drags her bestie to her and sylar's cute little apartment under the guise of... well, nothing, she just wants faye to see it now that they have a couch. (such a nice couch.) the couch was less important than the pretty ring gracing her left hand so lila didn't insist on getting it until they actually needed a couch. but some time earlier in the year, lila drunkenly said her ideal thanksgiving would be just her, sylar, and faye. and the kitties. she is making her idea thanksgiving happen and that will eventually involve watching tv on the couch so they finally got a couch.

once they arrive at the apartment and lila drags faye inside, shutting the door behind them so no cats escape, she spreads her arms like "ta-da!". on the table -- which now has three chairs -- is a thanksgiving feast that you can bet neither lila nor sylar actually cooked because hell no. it looks delicious and expensive. the tv is playing top gear reruns on mute because lila had the radio on before she left, dancing around the kitchen.

the kitchen/dining area/living room is all one big open area with huge windows and a hall that starts by the fridge which runs to the master bedroom, office/guest bedroom, and the bathroom. it's smaller than one would expect from lila gd zacharov, but she is in love with it and in the couple months they've had it, she's managed to make it look homey. and by homey, i mean, it looks lived in: her laptop is taking up one of the seats on the couch, half under a pile of blankets with research still open on the screen and there is a pair of shoes basically in every corner of the apartment. and a small pile by the door where she adds her current pair as she tugs them off. ]

[sylar is already sitting on the couch, eating one of the six million pies (yes, he's taking a fork to the whole fuckin' pie) while miss moppet is curled up on his lap. with a mouth full of pie, he contributes:] Surprise.

[ a few days into november, there's some commotion outside the castle, in that several giant trucks are delivering what appears to be huge quantities of treasure. wynn waits out on the steps, surveying their arrival, and hasmed is with him, creating magical vaults to transfer the treasure into to move it inside.

wynn looks properly pleased by all this, and might even be smiling to himself as he watches the trucks unloaded. ]

[Alainn climbs down from the passenger seat of one of those trucks, having given directions to where the treasure was. I'm sure it wasn't left unguarded in that whole time as well.

She makes her way over to Wynn, a grin on her face.] So, we get at least two months on the wall as employees of the month for this, right?

[ it's the big day! citizens of andres (so not most of you, sorry), are free to come vote for their new king or queen by casting a ballot. the two names on the actual lines are marcus andres and grulk, and there's a mix of resident humans and strange looking shadowkind lining up for the polls at city hall. cordelia is here, wearing a badge with mark's smiling face on it, giving people one last pep talk as she walks up and down the lines outside. ] A vote for King Marcus is a vote for a brighter future!

[ most of november and december is the spent the normal way for lila: in london. screwing around with faye as best friends are prone to do, whispering behind books in the library in a rare moment when they actually act their respective ages. maybe she's pigging out in the kitchen or you catch her at the grocer's by her and sylar's apartment buying way too much food for two people. she's still trading language lessons for the basic education she missed with alaric, tucked at a desk in the dragon's hoard wing, or studying with astrid while they do midterms and finals online.

the days up to and surrounding christmas seem to have lila in a funk that makes her even more liable to lash out at people and turn her snappish remarks downright vicious. this can be blamed on amara.

the days after christmas, however, find her in the dragon's hide wing beating the shit out of dummies with gleeful abandon since alex came through, best ever, and found her a shockingly pink meteor hammer because her second favorite character in kill bill turned out to be go-go and he won't buy her a katana. so instead, pink meteor hammer in the grip of a tiny little blonde and boy she looks like she's having a blast. ]

The whole way there, she refuses to actually tell himwhere they’re going, instead staring hard at her phone and directing him towards this unknown location (Navigate 2, 6, 16 – Best use of 2 action points ever).

It’s not too long before they find themselves among rows of houses, Rose indicating they need to pull into a driveway that leads to a large, inviting looking home. Strings of colored, twinkling Christmas lights frame the front windows and hanging from the door is a wreath made of holly and fir. ]
