[finishing her glass of wine, Faye will pour herself another. Because that trumps food tbh. She finally takes a full look at the spread.]

Why do I get the feeling, I'm about to watch you both unhinge your jaws and finish this in the next five minutes.

[sylar doesn't say anything because he's already eating ... perhaps proving faye's point????]

[ snort. ] Probably because of that. [ she drops into her chair, grabbing a crescent roll. ]

[Faye just rolls her eyes and starts to make herself a plate of a normal amount of food because she's not a human garbage disposal like these two.]

So is this the part where we say what we're thankful for or something?

I'm super thankful that there is a day just for food.

And I'm thankful for napkins. [She picks two up and tosses them at both of you slobs.]

Look at us, we're all so thankful. [ om nom nom. lila at least still eats delicately, but like that hot dog eating contestant who like wipes her mouth and shit between hot dogs and still manages to win. ]

As weird as this is? [Faye says, because it's kind of weird. They aren't at all a normal family or anything.] I'm glad you invited me.

Oh shut up. [ she nudges sylar under the table, but her tone is fond, as always, before she turns to faye. ] You're my best friend. You two morons are my family -- and you know how important family is to me.

[Faye smiles, but glances down, because she's been sort of pushing a lot of people away. Thankfully Lila's like a bad cold that always comes back- or she's just immune to Faye's bitchitude. And Sylar gives none fucks. It works out.]

I'm starting to see the appeal.
