[She grins like yeah, I know it, we're awesome. After a moment her smile fades and she puts her hands behind her back, looking ahead towards the trucks. After everything that had happened in the last few months, and her need for some distance, her wanderlust is kicking in, hard.] Sir, may I ask a favor of you?

With the holidays coming around so soon, I was wondering if I could take a leave of absence, near the end of December. I would really like to go see me family back in Ireland. [While she's not lying, she isn't exactly telling the whole truth either. But she seriously doubts that Wynn would have any kind of interest in matters of her heart, or really want to know anything about it. So, wanting to visit family it is.]

Of course if it's not possible I understand, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. [She could have just as easily talked to Hashmed about it instead of Wynn, but she really didn't like Hashmed all that much. And Wynn is way cooler than him anyway.]

Of course. I'll make certain you aren't scheduled on any missions at the time.
