So he's surprised when he hears what sounds like someone clanging around in one of the offices and heads that way, curiosity piqued. As he pokes his head around the door frame he can't help the chuckle that escapes as he takes in the sight of Sweets "practicing" with a sword. If you can call it that.
He leans against the frame, arms crossed as he speaks up.] Need some pointers?

[There's a beat, before he extends it out to him.]

Maybe we should actually take this to the training room so we don't ruin your office? [He seems to remember his manners after a moment, sticking out his hand-] I'm Jordan, by the way.

[He glances around the rest of the office before nodding again.]
Yeah, that's ... probably a good idea. Let me just lock the door.
[Not that there aren't spells to get around that, but with the notes he has in there, he's protecting the best way he knows how, for now.]

No, not at all. I am always willing to learn - it's just finding someone that's willing to teach on my schedule that's the hard part.

[And look, they've made it to the training rooms! Jordan walks in and heads to a practice mat.]

Yeah, that'd be great! I don't really go on missions, so I can definitely work around whenever you're available.
[He'd love to actually get good at it, and he's never been afraid of a little hard work.]

[He leads Sweets over to some of the wooden practice dummies, standing off to the side to give him room to swing.]

And it's obvious his form is mostly stuff he's learned from watching movies.]

[He steps closer to the dummy, holding his right hand out to the side as he does. With a flick of his wrist there is suddenly a scimitar in his hand. He takes a series of swings at the dummy (attack 25, 24, and 25 again), every blow landing with deadly accuracy, the last one striking the head off the dummy.
Turning back to Sweets, he points with his scimitar to a spot in front of the dummy.] So, the first thing you need to work on is stance.

[It sounds like he's going to say "shit" there for a second but eventually he regains his composure.]
Right. Stance. Okay.
[He shifts a bit to try and remember the way Jordan had been standing earlier, but apparently he was distracted by the sheer badassery (wisdom 8).]
How do I do this?

A very big part of using a sword is balance. You can be the strongest guy in the room, but if you try and move and end up on your ass because you're a klutz you'll be dead just as quick as the next guy. So lets work on your balance. [ And he would have Sweets do some balance-y type things, idek. Jordan's Balance check was a 23.]

He considers Sweets' stance and balance as he works through a few moves with a critical eye.]
Have you ever considered using a ranged weapon?

[Not that Sweets did much fighting because he's ... well, a shrink, not a barbarian.]
I just ... think swords are really cool.
[Because he's a nerd, basically.]
And I like to learn stuff, so learning how to use one is another thing I can cross off the ol' bucket list, you know?

After a moment he chuckles, scratching the back of his head as he nods.] Yeah, that might be for the best. But we can continue to practice frequently if you want to?

[He's not completely incompetent, he just needs practice. And some proper training. Once he has that, he could probably get pretty good.]

Hey, anytime man. I'm just glad to be of help to someone, it'll give me something to do in between missions. And it'll add a little normalcy to life, I think.

Normalcy is very important. Gives you time to decompress so that life isn't all extreme missions all the time.
