"I guess coming through the Veil has to have some perks." Dryly stated, but not dishonest at least. She's not sorry to say goodbye to her days of werewolf shenanigans and confused suffering, to the days of her friends hiding things from her and keeping her in the dark without offering her a hand out of it. But she is sorry for losing a lot of other things, like her family, and her home. She starts out of the medical wing, pulling her purse onto her shoulder and glancing back over it to Allison. "Aside from the platinum card."

"Of course," she replies trying to navigate through this. "Shopping has definitely made an impact."

She stops, frowning for a brief moment, "You know if you want to ever talk about Peter and what happened -- I know we didn't get much time before I went off to France and when I came back I just dove right back into things." They had talked here, but maybe they needed to talk more.

"I don't."

Brutal and efficient, she coldly cuts through Allison's attempts to reach out. The last thing she wants to do is make herself weak like that again. Especially now.

Well, that went about as well as Allison thought it would. She might approach the topic again, later, but for now she's fine with changing the subject completely.

"Alright, so which one of us is Abbi and which one is Ilana?" Not that she thinks either of them are pot-smoking people without forward momentum, but the friendship and willingness to do things for the other -- that rings true. And yes, the narration marathon'd Broad City just to make sure Allison was current with her best friend's show.

"I'm Abbi, obviously."

She welcomes the topic shift, turning her face towards Allison as she chatters a long-winded explanation that analyzes the girls' fashion choices. One day I'll watch more than a single episode of Broad City.

"Oh, of course," Allison agrees. They probably continue chatting all the way to their smoothies getting made and drank. It's still going to be something Allison thinks about, though, trying to figure out a way to make Lydia know that if she does ever want to discuss any of the things that happened -- that she's going to be there for her.
