wynn/hasmed ♔ early november (ota).

[ a few days into november, there's some commotion outside the castle, in that several giant trucks are delivering what appears to be huge quantities of treasure. wynn waits out on the steps, surveying their arrival, and hasmed is with him, creating magical vaults to transfer the treasure into to move it inside.

wynn looks properly pleased by all this, and might even be smiling to himself as he watches the trucks unloaded. ]

[Alainn climbs down from the passenger seat of one of those trucks, having given directions to where the treasure was. I'm sure it wasn't left unguarded in that whole time as well.

She makes her way over to Wynn, a grin on her face.] So, we get at least two months on the wall as employees of the month for this, right?

[wynn]

You've certainly earned your share of commendations for this one.

[attollores]

Aye, the whole team did amazingly well. There are some really great Knights coming around lately, and some of them were on that mission. [She'll give credit where it's due, and her team kicked ass.]

[wynn]

That would be why I entrusted you all with it.

[attollores]

[She grins like yeah, I know it, we're awesome. After a moment her smile fades and she puts her hands behind her back, looking ahead towards the trucks. After everything that had happened in the last few months, and her need for some distance, her wanderlust is kicking in, hard.] Sir, may I ask a favor of you?

[wynn]

Certainly, Sir O'Rourke.

With the holidays coming around so soon, I was wondering if I could take a leave of absence, near the end of December. I would really like to go see me family back in Ireland. [While she's not lying, she isn't exactly telling the whole truth either. But she seriously doubts that Wynn would have any kind of interest in matters of her heart, or really want to know anything about it. So, wanting to visit family it is.]

Of course if it's not possible I understand, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. [She could have just as easily talked to Hashmed about it instead of Wynn, but she really didn't like Hashmed all that much. And Wynn is way cooler than him anyway.]

Of course. I'll make certain you aren't scheduled on any missions at the time.

[attollores]

Thank you, Sir, I appreciate that. [She gestures to the trucks that are still being unloaded.] I should probably pitch in and help.

Seems as if this old pirate still has a nose for finding treasure, eh?

[He's so damn proud of himself.

As if he did anything but just bring the rest of the team to that weird floating city. God bless powerful mages and people who can hit things far better than he can. But yes- he'll take full credit for the treasure finding. A+ pirate.]
