[ oh, fiona spends a lot of time in the dragon's fire wing, too. and the bar, and the kitchen, and... probably not outside, but whatever. there's like literally no way they wouldn't run into each other sooner or later.

right now, the drow genie is practicing her hold portal spell on the door malina is currently trying to open. which means, it doesn't do what it should when she turns the handle, no matter how much she throws her weight against it, and if she wants in, she's probably gonna need to say something :) ]

[Normally, Malina is all for magic in practice. People need to get a feel for their spells and find out what works best for them, but understandably, she gets rather annoyed when someone has blocked the path between her and her alcohol. She pauses, after trying to throw herself against the door several times, before huffing and knocking loudly.]

Is there a reason why we're holding the booze hostage?

[ from the other side of the door: ] How do you know the booze isn't holding me hostage? [ and then she would hear the snickering from the girl who has clearly been hitting the booze. however, the spell is dispelled now, and the door can be opened if she chooses to try again. ]

I think the rest of the castle would notice if we picked up some enchanted booze.

Yeah, unless everyone who did notice is now passed out on some floor somewhere. [ speaking of sprawled out on the floor, that's pretty much how malina finds fiona, her legs stretched out before her and her back leaning against the wall. very lady-like, i know.

oh, she also has many an empty bottle carelessly discarded around her, and there's a half-full one in her right hand. ]

[Her eyebrow climbs a bit at the sight of her, but she's not really one to judge. With the jobs they have, sometimes you just need a good hard drink.]

Throwing a party of one?

Does anyone around here actually know what a party is?? [ she looks put-out, staring into the top of her liquor bottle. but then she shrugs, tipping it back to chug some more. ]
