No. [ duh. when she continues it sounds like she's reciting her findings from memory. ] The Devourer of Minds is a prophesied great monster sometimes called an "ultimate monster".

This is mostly on hunter blogs, which is cute, they have a little club. My dad was on a Yahoo chat group. Should have been the first sign. A bunch of those hunters followed the trail to Chicago, where presumably they ran into you. The Devourer is supposed to be a psion and also has the ability to take powers from other the minds psions, which kills them. Hence the name. Still gross.

Then a couple years ago Dean Winchester killed you. ...which didn't actually happen. [ her head tips, thoughtful. she remembers the name from squiring ceremonies past. (wis 16) ] Does he know?

[watchmaker]

[he ignores all the weird dad stuff to focus on himself because he's his favorite person. and also sort of dean. he's ... somewhere on sylar's list of favorite people. it's a really short list.] I don't actually devour them. [he rolls his eyes.] And no, Dean doesn't know. He's one of my only friends. I don't think he'd take it very well.

That the person he murdered was supposed to be you or that you're... [ she pantomimes the psycho stabbing. ]

I don't do that anymore. But both.

So figurative devouring, reformed serial killer. [ why is it always serial killers? ] There was also something about a coven of psionic prophets looking for you. [ AGGRESSIVELY SNIFFLES as she pours her cheerios finally and puts the milk back in the fridge. ] Sounds ominous.

[watchmaker]

[that would explain his albino friend. his mouth quirks to one side, contemplative.] You find out anything else about them? [and then he notices her death throes finally... (wis 18)] Hey, you okay?

I'm sick -- but I'm outside the contagious period so don't... whatever. And no, not yet, I'm still looking into them, but they're sort of elusive. I'll see if Belle can help.

[watchmaker]

I don't get sick. [he shrugs it off, but it's not like he's running over to make out with her either, ok.] Who's Belle again?

Librarian, my mentor. If anyone can find something in a book, it's probably her. [ and abigail hasn't tried to get to know anyone else who might be able to help because abigail doesn't like people.

Are you really reformed? Because I have bad luck with serial killers and I don't want to find out if fourth time is the charm.

[in the blandest tone ever] You've done your research on me, so you'd know that you'd really only have to worry if you were psionic. And I would know if you were.

[lurings]

[ she shrugs. ] I was almost murdered three times, I think it's worth double checking.

[ and yet she is at ease with sylar. because she no doubt already told will about him, gossip!!!!, and she does still have a little bit of a death wish. whoopsie daisy.

also she's too sick to care right now. ] You were surprisingly up front about it. You know it's a myth that all killers want to get caught, right? It was fostered by media sensationalism and Criminal Minds, probably.

I didn't expect you to find anything. [hmph. he opens the waffle iron to put his finished product on a plate, then starts making another.] You don't seem scared of me.

[lurings]

You said it yourself. There's no point in killing me. And your friend wouldn't like you anymore if you killed a fellow squire in the kitchen.

Well, keep it to yourself. Only a couple people actually know.

Okay. [ she scoops up her bowl of cheerios like bye. she's so good at people. ]
