He is that. [because he's apparently smart enough to know people are talking about him, he tries to wrestle his enormous head up underneath helen's arm so she will pet him as they walk. IF YOU'RE GONNA GOSSIP ABOUT ME, AT LEAST PET ME. X(] Henley, don't be pushy.

[Helen doesn't seem to mind at all, scratching the dog behind the ears and laughing.]

You're such a ham, Henley. [She rolls her eyes and laughs.] I'm glad the Knights let me keep him. Having a pet is different than having a familiar, after all.

A pet is just as important as a familiar, if you ask me. Companionship from him is unmatched by any other, I imagine.

He does make sure I'm never lonely. [She looks down a bit, slightly embarrassed at the admittance.]

[Helen just nods.] That's very important. And if you're ever away on mission and need someone to look after him, so long as I'm not called away, I'll be happy to check in on him.

Oh thank you so much. [the look of relief on her face suggests that is something she was concerned about.] He's no trouble at all. And I know there's probably not... a doggy daycare service here, so I wasn't sure who to ask.

I'm happy to help, dear. I think he and I will get along just fine. But there are plenty of others who would be happy to do the same if I'm not available.
