I don't, trust me. [She's probably better with kids than she gives herself credit for though.] I think that's why they follow me around...

[Because Rose has no problem teaching them how to beat on their older brothers and get away with it. #responsibleadult.

She doesn't even have to pretend to think about it, a slow grin pulling at the corners of her mouth as she keeps pace with Alainn.]

That's a yes to the jogging partner and an oh my god yes to a night out. I haven't had one of those since - [Come on Rose, you remember.] It's been a while.

[Alainn's answering grin threatens to split her face in half as she chuckles] Excellent! That's sorted then. A night out is just what the cleric ordered, and it'd better happen sooner rather than later. I've been lacking in some serious girl-drinking time, and it's a dire need now.

It won't be a problem peeling ye away from Dean? [The cheeky look she gives Rose is accompanied by a playful wink.]

You know, I don't think I've ever done one of those? [Maybe before she came through the veil but since then?] I wasn't much of a drinker before coming through the veil.

[Now? Well lets just say that alcohol was what the Doctor ordered. Literally, as it was the only thing she'd found that muted the bond.]

I think maybe I can manage it for one night... I'll tell him we're going out for Vegie burgers or something.

No? Well, I used to have them all the time with Kat, and every now and then we'd even drag Gar along, but since they've been on that Talisman mission we've not had time for it. [her eyes take on a slight sadness, but it's gone nearly as quickly as it shows and she's all smiles again.]

I can't say either way if I was a drinker before the Veil, but I know it wasn't foreign to me. At least not Fey wine. Gods I love Fey wine.

So, do ye know anyone else who'd like to come out?

[Understanding flashes in Rose's eyes but she doesn't expand on it. The subject of Elena would always be a sore point for her but she can relate to never getting to see a friend because of the Talisman Mission.]

And Fey wine is different to regular wine, how? [Bless. She really should spend more time out of the training room.]

Umm... Faith, definitely and Fiona too. [And more but this is the first time Rose has ever tried to think about who she'd invite to a girls night out.] Bo and Myri? If they'd be into it.

Oh, ye sweet lamb. [She gives her a faux-distressed look, hand going to her heart.] Fey wine isn't somethin' that can be explained, my dear, 'tis something that must be savored.

[Mischief puts a twinkle in her eye as she considers the names given, chuckling.] I can't say as though I've met any of them except for Myri. [shrug] I'm glad we'll get the chance to meet on such an ostentatious occasion!

[Rose is so very lost right now - in her mind thinking that it must just be... really good wine?! Somebody should explain to her that it's probably more like Fiona's special Djinn Brownies.]

So I'll take that as a, I need to try it at some point then? [Chuckling a little as she keeps pace with Alainn.]

You'll like Bo for sure. [She's Rose only a Succubus to be honest.] And every crazy thing that has happened to me always involves me drinking with Faith. Good crazy, I mean.

That is a definite "yes" to the trying, and the sometime should be sooner rather than later. [As they keep pace with each other she chuckles, waggling her brows mischievously.]

This is startin' to sound like a very promising girls night out. [then, in a faux whisper-] I'm so excited!

[A smile pulls wide across Rose's features and she catches herself in a moment, one where she realizes that after all the crap that's been going on in her life, she's finally in a good place. Boyfriend? Check. Friends - plural - check. No sudden unexpected attacks from devils? Triple check.

Apparently normal wasn't something she was really used to.]

I gotta head to New York for Thanksgiving and with clean up here, the elections and Christmas? It might be a little bit before we can get everyone together but the sooner we can make this happen, the better.

'Tis a deal then! After the holidays we'll plan on getting some girls together and hitting the town and fie on anyone who stands in our way! [No one is going to stand in your way, Alainn, why would they??

As they come back around to where Alainn joined up with her in the first place she would nod in the direction she came from, slowing a little.] This is me, then. I better study me spells for the day, or I'll be in a pickle later on.

I like this plan. [Slowing down herself as Alainn does, Rose casting a look over her shoulder to see the little entourage has now fallen back out of sight.]

No problem. I should, jog back, make sure the next gen of knights haven't collapsed. [Grin widening a little.] But I'll catch up with you later and you can tell me more about this Fey Wine stuff.

[She jogs on the spot for another moment, brushing Alainn on the arm by way of goodbye before she doubles back to check on the girls.]

Good luck with the mini-troops! [She gives Rose a waggle of her fingers as a wave goodbye with a fond look in her eyes, turning and jogging the rest of the way back from where she came.]
