[He sucks in breath after breath as she breaks contact, eyes clamped shut to try and regain some sense of control. It doesn't really work though, and when she suggests they take this to her room he doesn't even stop to think, arms wrapping under her back and bottom, keeping her pressed against him effortlessly as he leaves the room in quick, effective strides (Str-20, Dex Nat 20 LOL). He resumes their kiss once they hit the hallway, the quiet corridor filled with the sound of his heavy steps and loud breathing.

Before they get too far he slows, turning to press her against the wall as he trails kiss after kiss down her neck and under her jaw, then back again to her lips. He seems to have forgotten their target and is lost in kissing her (Willsave: Crit fail lmaooo)]

[ LOOK HER WILL SAVE IS STILL GOOD OK. she leans her head back, laughing against his mouth with delight ] Jordan.

[His will save is much better this time around (will save:16). When she says his name it finally seems to snap him out of his lust-fog, eyes focused on her face for a pregnant moment before he slowly lowers her until her feet touch the ground. It takes him another moment to finally put some space between their bodies, not much, just enough so they aren't flush against each other still.]

S-sorry, Faith. I- [he swallows thickly, voice strained and thick] -I'm sorry.

For what? [ she keeps her arms wrapped his neck ] Did you hear me complaining?

[A smile quirks up the corner of his mouth at that, leaning his forehead on hers as he dips to brush his lips lightly against hers. He pulls back before he's tempted to deepen it again.]

No. But I still... shouldn't do that in the hallway. [Or probably at all, but he's just ignoring that for now]

As far as Knighthood scandals go, I think it ranks pretty low.

Yeah, you're probably right. [He sighs, pulling back just a little bit more to catch her eyes. He seems to get caught up in her gaze, eyes tracing her features fondly.]

It's just that... [He had a chance to think and breathe and is realizing that he really can't go through with this. He and Faye may not have a real relationship, but he couldn't allow himself to "cheat" on her, even if she had done it to him first. What kind of man would that make him? What chance would he have at a real, functional relationship in the future if he had cheated during his last relationship?

He takes in another breath before continuing-] I can't do this. Even if Faye is [ and he stops again, swallowing deeply] cheating, I can't do that. No matter how badly I want to.

[moonheart]

So break up with her. [ she raises one hand to his cheek, her words insistent ] Be with me instead.

[He just... stares at her, breathless for a few moments before he seems to recall himself, raising his hand to the one one his cheek and pressing a kiss to her wrist, a low groan crawling up his throat.] I can't. I- I wish I could, I do. But I literally. Can't.

[moonheart]

[ she stiffens a little bit, drawing herself away from him, and slipping her wrist out of his grip as she steps past him. ] I think I get it.

No- Wait! Faith, you don't understand! [He moves to go after her, his hand stretched in front of him. But he lets it fall, his shoulders hunching at the same time, agony in his expression. No, she didn't understand, and he couldn't explain it to her. No matter how badly he wanted to, he had to let her believe that he just wouldn't break it off with Faye.

He doesn't say anything else, allowing his hand to drop to his side. There's nothing he hasn't already said, and can't expect her to understand. His face is pained as he keeps his gaze locked on her.]

I should go. [ she takes a few steps further down the hall, hesitates... then keeps walking. ]

[He watches her go, eyes glued to her figure until she disappears around the corner. His hurt is quick to turn to anger, face clouding over as he wheels to stalk the other way. He was going to find Faye, and he was going to make her release him, one way or another.]
