He just stares at her, unable to look away from her flirty flirting face, swallowing thickly. He is so putty in her hands, it's not even funny.] Ye- Yeah, I really think so. You're just graceful all around.

That's sweet. [ she looks down, hair falling out and curtaining her face again for a moment, bouncing back away when she looks up at him once more. she slides her fingers out of his hands with a feather-light touch that also caresses his wrist (nat 20 dex check idek, this hussy), and brushes her hair back again. ] Come on, maestro. Show me what you got.

[Pfffft, just gonna... keep that will save.

His adams apple bobs up and down as he looks down at his wrist, before seeming to realize that she was making words. Words that, after a moment of fuzzy-brained confusion, he finally understands.]

Oh, right, uh. It's just up ahead here. [Points to the next door on the left as they approach, turning the handle and holding it open for her to precede him inside.]

In here? [ in she goes, spotting the bench and going to sit herself down on it primly ]

[He closes the door behind himself as he enters, going to sit on the bench next to her. He runs his hands along the lid before lifting it gently, almost reverently.]

I think this is my favorite piano in the whole castle. It's old, but it has the most heart.

I never thought about a piano having a heart before.

[wishuponadjinn]

[He looks a bit sheepish at that, shrugging as his hands drift lightly over the keys, plinking out a simple tune (Perform: Piano 22).] I think all instruments have a heart to them, that gives them the quality of sound they have.

...Which I never thought as sounding so corny until just now. [He blushes, scratching the back of his head as his eyes dart to her face, possibly checking to see if she was laughing at him.] But this old thing has the most beautiful sound, more so than any other in the castle. It's... rich.

[ she's not laughing at him at all. in fact, she's just smiling at him, studying him as he plays with such simple skill. ] You make it look so easy.

[He shrugs, a little embarrassed.]

I guess it's just like a reflex now. Someday you'll be able to play just as easy, if you stick to it. [Speaking of which, he places his fingers lightly on the keys, playing a very simple scale, then gestures for her to follow suit.] Put your fingers here- [and he'll arrange her fingers on the keys]- and here. Give it a try.

[ she does so obediently, leaning unnecessarily close to him in the process ] Like that?

[Yeah he... doesn't mind at all. After she plunks out a few notes he reaches to re-position her fingers on the keys again, then guides them with his fingers over top of hers.] More like this. Curve your fingers a bit more.

[His voice is deeper than normal, a husky quality to the tone as he glances at her, looking quickly once more to the keys and their hands.]

Good, that's better.

[He helps her to play the scale again a few times before moving his hands from hers, nodding to the keys.] Okay, now you alone.

[ with a 16 perform, she doesn't do too shabby at all ok. she focuses hard on the keys, whimsically plinking away to copy what he did. ]

[His eyes light delight as she plays, his smile breaking into a chuckle as she comes to the end of the chord.] That was great, Faith! Good job.

Did you want to try something more challenging?

Bring it on.

Can do [he grins at her, enthused and plinks out the first few notes of "Chopsticks" then gives her a minute to follow suit.]

[He chuckles before placing his hands over hers once more, playing out the first few notes again, slowly. Perform: 17.] Like this.

Maybe I should be leaving this to the professional.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that.[if the blush on his face is anything to go by, he is definitely flattered. He clears his throat, eyes darting to her and away again.] So, maybe we should just stick to scales for now.

[ maybe. but she doesn't seem all that interested in the piano anymore tbh. ] How am I supposed to repay you for these lessons of yours?

[He definitely picks up on her sudden lack of interest... in the piano at least (Wis: 19). His mouth drops open as he scratches the back of his head, blush deepening a bit further.] Oh, no you don't have to worry about that, it's my pleasure. I promise.

What if I want to? [ her eyes drop as she studies his face, before looking back up to his gaze again ]
