In his beliefs? How's that? Like he's not very confident in them?

[Cora shakes her head because she gets it. It's the same thing she's been struggling with getting him to understand - he needs to believe that being a wolf doesn't matter. Until that happens, there's nothing she can really do for him. But out loud, for Willow:]

He needs to believe that the what doesn't matter.

[there's a pause as she tries to mull that over some more.]

Is there a way to ... talk to them on his behalf? See if they could give him some kind of ... sign or something?

[She knows that children of gods are a thing (see: Violet Reedhym), so she figures that talking to them is probably a little more literal than prayer is back home.]

[ she smiles gently ] Anyone may talk to those gods. It is much rarer to speak with them. Even devout followers usually go their entire life without being so blessed. Instances of deities responding personally to prayers are... limited. Particularly in this world, where their power itself has limits.

Sooo probably a no to that, huh? [She huffs a little, because chit chatting with a god would be so cool.] Is there anyone else from his order nearby? Maybe someone who might have some perspective on the whole... werewolf thing?

Or maybe there's a ... temple or something? Or a church?

[She has no idea what they call their houses of worship, but she figures if people from Faerun are coming over and still have their cleric/paladin abilities, there have to have a few pop up along the way.]

Well there are certainly temples of Helm and Torm around. That might be a good avenue to pursue.

Ooh! We could tell them you want to try to do the...whole divine thing, but don't know if the-- grr argh part will get in the way. Just to...keep from name dropping Lan, y'know?

[She says to cora bc maybe saying that instead of assuming people understand my half ass phone tags from work is a good idea.]

[Cora nods because yep, that sounds like a perfect idea. She glances over to Risa with a small smile because now she has a lead, and it's something she can do that's not just sitting and pouring over books.]
