Well, that part happened too. [Though his galaxy doesn't sound much like the shadow world that so many people come from. The idea seems more or less the same.]

Sure, there are a few of us. Not all worlds are as planet-bound as this one.

Yeah. Lot of people get surprised when I say where I'm from. Considering no one from your planet's been further than its own moon, it makes sense.

Well, it wouldn’t surprise me. People on this planet seem a lot better at making holovids--movies than actually doing anything.

That's because it's easier to pretend to do a thing than actually do it. It doesn't require bravery or strength or... Character.

Well, I don't want to be. I want to be able to look life in the eye and say, "You know what, you're not that scary or awful or bad" and find the good in everything. Some days are harder than others, though.
