The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

[As Rose watches Decker disappear inside she actually remembers they're all wearing earpieces so rather than respond to Buffy's text... (Wis 19)]

Sounds like Crombe is gonna be a no show. Looks like we aren't the only ones unhappy with the Groom. [She does however sweep her gaze back to Buffy and nods in agreement to the text she just got.]

[ nbd just nodding discreetly to rose after checking her phone like yes you did a good. and going back to pretending to garden. ]

[With Kat's voice coming over the comms and talk of her coming around the side, Rose tenses, as if bracing for everything to go south in a hurry and keeps her focus on anything she can see (Spot 34/38) and hear (Listen 39/43) both in and out of the Chapel.]

[ Concern strikes through Buffy like a heart-attack when she hears the exchange between Elena and Kat, eyes flickering over to Rose like ? ??? ? why are we uselessly out here ? ?? ? She's visibly Not Happy about feeling on the outskirts of the action, but she's also wholly impotent. With listen 33, spot 30. ]

[ both of them notice kat and spike around the corner, and can see through the windows as dimitris starts ... having his fake heart attack ]

[Relief is probably an inappropriate response to seeing somebody have a heart attack but it's Sarandis and it's a fake one. Lets be honest here, if it had been real, Rose's response would be something closer to joy.

She does however exchange looks with Buffy. Sort of an 'okay we can breathe for a second cause shits back on track'.]

[ Ok that sounds like a terrible fucking situation. Literally in all of their planning how did none of them consider the ex-rich ex-dictator having rich doctor friends he might invite to his wedding? Buffy drops her shears into the bushes with a groan, rips off her hat, and looks quickly to Rose. ]

We need a doctor on our side to get there sooner. I'm going in.

[Bless it. That was actually a really good Wis Check from Rose who stands up and pretty much, blocks Buffy's path just enough to make her stop and think this through (Wis 18).]

And you go in there, not only will you probably be recognized but how do you plan to explain crashing a wedding, right as the Groom happens to be having a heart attack?

[ Buffy stops up short, narrows her gaze on Rose. ]

That's what the alter other spell is for. No one will recognize me: I'll come up from the back and act like I was a guest. But we have to do something soon, or we're going to lose him.

[With a grim expression and glance towards the doors of the chapel... Rose pulls out her stake.]

We don't need a Doctor, we need a distraction. [She stops short of running the point of her stake across her palm to explain. (WS 22)] I buy idiot Gardener who cut herself over surprise Doctor that nobody knows?

You really think this is the audience for people who care about the help's physical wellbeing?

I think rich morons don't like blood. [But... she sees your point. She just. Doesn't like the plan.] It's your call.

[Cause that Will Save wasn't good enough for Rose to stand firm on this.]

All I have to do is keep them away long enough for the ambulance to get here, right? [ With that optimism in mind, Buffy shakes her head and moves past Rose to sneak into the building (move silently 32, hide 31) and make it look like she's approaching from within the rows... ]

[Rose does not. Look happy because. She thinks they should trust Elena to handle things but. She's not about to tackle her to the ground either so, she's just going to give the heads up to Elena at least.]

You have one fake Doctor incoming... [As she moves a little closer to the chapel doors, just so she's there to provide quick back up. (Hide 30 to not be spotted by those inside).]

[With the chatter coming over the comms, it doesn't take a genius to realize that things are going south. Standing up from her hiding position, Rose would now be in full view through the glass doors of the chapel, stake drawn but she's going to hold her action while she tries to assess where she's needed most. (Listen 38/42) To hear if there's trouble going down by the east and west entries and a Nat 20 Spot Check (42/46 total if that even matters) to see what's brewing inside the Chapel and in the Garden.]

[ rose would be able to hear valentin and amanda talking to myri and des at the west entrance, and hear spike and kat booking it from the east doors towards the front of the building. she would hear the distant sirens, the yelling from out front in a foreign language, and look inside, where she can see that dumage is engaged in an argument with her mother near the altar. most of the other civilians are still involved in frantic hubbub about what just happened, looking confused about where to go and what to do, and reacting to the sound of sirens. a curious few seem to be heading towards the front doors. ]

[And it's the people starting towards the front of the building that sees Rose spring into action, her stake being slipped away for now as she opens the chapel doors. Diplomacy may not be one of her strong suits but the last thing they all need is a bunch of Civilians getting caught in the crossfire if there are cops involved (Wis 19. I am just. So proud right now.)]

Ladies and Gentlemen if I can have your attention... [Shooting Dumage a discreet glance like. IDK what you want from me here I'm the muscle. With a Diplomacy of about 10... even Rose realizes that's not going to help any so... she tries a different approach.]

Hey! Listen up! [Intimidate 39... I guess that's one way to control a crowd. (Heroic Surge 1/5)] I need everyone to move away from the front of the chapel and sit their asses down.

[ i am not kidding here... the crowd rolled a nat 20. they are not impressed, rose. probably because they are too busy being like panicked/curious at this point to be deterred. ]

[Rose is just. Fucking seriously?! What is it with rich people!! With Gar's voice requesting back up coming through the comms, she's not about to dick around for very long so she moves straight over to Dumage, all srs face and completely ignores ma and pa.]

This whole place is swarming with people who have guns. I suggest if you don't want your family and friends to get caught in the crossfire, you find a way to control them. [(Bluff 27 for any eavesdroppers to buy that Rose is barking orders and not... talking to a teammate.)]

[ with only a 20 sense motive, even dumage isn't sure if rose is trying to give friendly tactical advice or just... being a bitch???? so she doesn't look all that happy about it, but w/e. she turns to everyone and speaks up: ] I can't be the only one who hears gunfire. She's right - there's something more going on here than just a medical emergency. I suggest we all stay here where it's safe, and let the police handle this. [ diplomacy 51 (56 for dudes) ]

[WOW THE PRETTY LADY HAS A POINT. And Hammer pokes his head out from where he's ducked behind some pews because police sirens make him anxious.] Uh... Yeah. She has a point. We wouldn't wanna, like... be accidentally complicit or... Obstructing! That's the word. [he laughs nervously] There we go. We don't... We don't wanna do that. Some of us can't afford to be hauled in for questioning right now...

[With one last look in Dumage's direction and satisfied at least that she's got this under control, Rose offers a curt nod before peeling away from her and starting to push through the crowd (Escape Artist 31).

Hearing the gunshots coming from the coatroom (listen 29/33), Rose comes to a stop in the lobby and will be running off to investigate that... next round.]
