The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

[ He's been around Spike enough, but he's still never spoken directly to the guy. He often refers to him as Blondie because it's not like they sat down and did introductions. Though he's since learned he has an actual name and isn't just that blonde vampire.

Steve takes the time to sit across from the man and nod. ] We haven't really--[ Spoke? Acknowledged each other? Either one. ]--if I'm bothering you I can go?

Everyone bothers me. [Which doesn't mean Steve has to go. Spike's just ornery constantly.] Technicolored Yank, right? [.....he knows Steve's name too. Probably.]

[ Not everyone can wear black and get away with it, Spike. ] Should have seen it when I originally came out of the ice. I looked like the American flag. [ Coulson had designed--well, it was not his best look. Steve preferred the one Tony designed when they went hunting for HYDRA. Which is probably what Spike's referring to. Wearing that uniform then was a mistake. ] But yeah. That's me.

Even more-so? [Spike raises an eyebrow, then... wait.] What do you mean, came out of the ice?

Colors were brighter.

[ It was not a suit preped for missions of infiltration. SHIELD had made one for that, but it was lost with their fall and HYDRA's rise. ]

Alright. Another one who doesn't know. I kind of just assume--I grew up in a time not even close to this one. I had an experiment run on me during wartime. They didn't know the side effects though. Crashed a plane into the ice to stop it from hurting a lot of people and I didn't die like they thought. My body just sorta--froze down there. I was alive. My aging was suspended. Or slowed. They still aren't sure. For seventy years.

What, then did you put on a cape and tights and start fighting evil?

No one wears a cape when they fight evil.

[ In the past before New York he wore a tight costume. These days it's bulkier. ]

Tights don't give me room to move. I prefer a kevlar body suit with pockets.

Really? Thought kevlar was rather tough. [Spike shrugs.] Personally I'm all about the leather jacket. Much cooler.

Typically? Yes. I know people though who--get around that stuff.

[ Pretty much they're obnoxious geniuses, Spike. ]

Doesn't get hot?

I'm a vampire. Temperature doesn't really affect me. [He smirks, tip of his tongue curling out for a second.] Unless you mean how I look, in which case, yeah.

I didn't know that was a thing. [ Then again Steve hasn't met any actual vampires. ] Um. [ Steve looks so pained right now. ] Not really no. The first thing.
