I prefer it over filth. [ she glances up from scrubbing the baseboards, tossing her hair over her shoulders. she's very serious about cleaning. ] It's citrus, the least offensive smell. Unless you have scurvy, I guess.

Sure, but it's also strong as hell.

So don't breathe. [ straightening, she puts her rubber gloved hands on her hips, frowning. ] Did you want something, Sir Broody Brows, or did you just want to nitpick my efforts?

Both. [ she starts peeling off her gloves, turning them inside out so she can leave the rag inside and twist the top closed, maybe softening the smell. ]

I'm a member of the Dragon's Hide. Which translates to 'vampires are great at taking down bad guys'. I used to be a hunter before I did this anyway, so I guess it's not that different.

I was a cheerleader. [ she takes a breath before launching into the rest of her resume. ] Captain of the cheerleading squad, actually. Plus head of the dance committee, head of the recycling program, head of the Mystic Falls beautification committee, and Miss Mystic Falls.

[ all activities she sounds incredibly proud of. ]

[ his eyebrows go up at that. ] A cheerleader.

Do you have a problem with that, because I promise you I can high kick you in the teeth with a smile on.

No problem at all. Just not a ... typical backstory around here.

It's not my fault people don't have pride in their extra-curricular activities.
