[Earlier in the week all DRAKENET devices received a message announcing Francesca's birthday party, courtesy of Sir Bancroft, to be held the evening of July 11. No RSVP needed. It's especially good timing now that many mission groups have returned to the castle, at least for the time being.

As the guests make their way in, it's clear the party's been well stocked with food and drink. There's plenty of room for mingling and some music in the background. Gifts are completely optional, but welcome. Come in and get comfortable.]

[Well he was GOING to tell Gar it was all fine and dandy, but Kat's attitude just makes him have to prod that spiky surface.]

[ there's no time for any more reacting than that, because kat turns around, eyes dropping down to follow thoster's gaze, and her entire face contorts into angry, angry rage. ] Oh yeah? [ and then her fist comes flying around, hammering straight into thoster's nose for all it's worth [nat 20... 10 subdual damage... which probably knocks him straight the fuck out... oops ]

[Thoster sure doesn't have time to worry about Andie coming up and interrupting because he is... unconscious.

[Whoops. Andie is torn between feeling worried because she likes him and passed out and vindictively pleased because STOP EYEING OTHER GIRLS.]

[Last time he got knocked out, Riddick dumped cold water on his face to snap him out of it, so when Gar lifts his head, she'll only get a groan- which shows that he's certainly alive, but not ready to be alert just yet. (Since Kat should get to bask in the glory of her KO, really)]

[As Mark walks Kat away, Thoster finally starts to crack open his eyes. The lights above hurt like a motherfucker, though, so he instantly squints and blinks. He registers that it's Andie above him fairly quickly.]

If I said you were a sight for sore eyes, it'd be an understatement. It's not just my eyes that are sore this time.

[No, his whole head is throbbing currently. He doesn't quite try to get himself off the floor right away.]
