In less than twenty-four hours, everything has turned on its head.

A Knight and her allies were kidnapped by Iscariot agents for execution in Rome, barely escaping with their lives.

A mission meant to free one Knight from the influence of a dark god succeeded - at the price of another's life.

A simple recon mission at a Keijen Blade concert nearly led to two Knights committing mind-controlled suicide in front of an eager crowd.

Several Knights went to see Draken Crombe, leader of the Church of the Lord's Humanity, speak in person, and learned just how sinister his religion's dogma is.

A call from Sir Hathaway alerted Wynn to the escape of the doppelganger from the Knight's dungeons, an escape perhaps aided by Elena Gilbert.

A demigod interrupted what might have been a simple smash and grab retrieval of an artifact.

And most horrific of all, in the middle of the night, hundreds of Shadowkind in New York City awoke, and walked in a mindless trance down to the Hudson River to drown themselves. Only the quick thinking and combined efforts of the Knights present and their allies prevented all of them from succeeding.

Beset on all sides, a dark time awaits for the Knighthood - who were already suffering from the capture of Dragon's Claw Sir Thomas Bancroft at the hands of their long time enemy Dimitris Sarandis of Andres Isle.

In times such as these, the light can be difficult to find. Hope itself seems somewhere just out of reach.

[ lila texts stiles got it as they go to indicate she sure does get it. she's annoyed that everyone seemed to miss how it was the original plan, she just split them up early because they were wasting time and didn't need six people in the tower. but whatever, she can't read minds, she just figures they're all incompetent. she knows this airport in and out considering she's been visiting it once a month for over a year, sometimes more if she decided to be a good girlfriend and pick sylar up when he flew in, so she just walks off in the right direction. (nav 16) ] Come on, we need boarding passes.

[ she doesn't care if jaime comes with them or not, she'll just buy another pass, but the whole point of not wasting time getting out of his armor was so he could, you know, better protect stiles and lydia if someone tried to interrupt their cctv-fu. but whatever. and using this tag to break up the groups, xoxo kisses. ]

The truly hilarious part of this search and rescue is that they're probably not even leaving. They're probably at Nando's, eating peri peri chicken while we're running around assuming they're fleeing the country. [ she checks her watch briefly. ] Well, maybe not Nando's, they're closed. [ IS THAT THE POINT, LILLIAN? ]

So we're looking for a couple and by couple I don't mean like us, I just mean two people. Who could look like anyone. [ needle in the haystack and she can't just set the hay on fire. ] Doppelgängers aren't like dogs, right? We can't just blow a whistle really loud and see who gets incapacitated? [ she stops at the kiosk and starts to tap in the info needed to get boarding passes so they can get through security. it's pretty easy and only takes a few minutes. I don't think so. And even if they did, the airport is huge. There's probably enough other psions around to muck things up. OH HEY WYNN'S VIDEO CALL. she moves away from the kiosk for a tiny bit of privacy and holds it out in front of them to watch. elena's going to andres, stuff she feels only mildly concerned about (sorry luthir?) and stuff that bugs her but she doesn't have the capacity to give a fuck about. no one she cares about is in new york right now. oh well.

her eyes flick up to the departures board. is there even a flight to andres? what is even near the island? she does not know. (knowledge: geography 6) ] Do you know where Andres Isle is? If they haven't left yet we still have time to narrow it down.
