To make up for the fact that a certain couple eloped the night before the Battle for Andres, Bo and Andrew decided to make sure to have a party that would certainly make up for it. There's decorations galore, including a massive Christmas Tree with plenty of room for presents in case anyone wants to exchange gifts mid-party, plenty of tasty snacks to pick at, and more booze than can probably be consumed by the people in attendance, though no doubt they'll certainly try.

Oh, and there's mistletoe everywhere. A certain succubus wouldn't be happy if there wasn't plenty of kissing going on.

Try not to have too much fun, though. You wouldn't want to be too hungover on Christmas morning, would you? Or you could just do what Bo and Andrew are going to do and sleep in til noon. ;)

[With a disguise of 28, helen isn't fucking around when it comes to this party. Being sectmates with Andrew, she's obviously thrilled for him but she also just loves Christmas. So in a dark red dress that's a touchy more racy than she's normally seen in, she's all smiles as she moves around the party. She's all about this one- singing carols, enjoying egg nog, watching people open gifts... Basically everywhere.]

[Han's about as grumpy as he normally is, but he's got a smile for Helen when he sees her. He has eggnog too and he raises his glass when she gets closer.] This stuff supposed to be this sweet? Seems kind of excessive.

Well, you've clearly picked the wrong batch. [Because I'm sure Bo and Andrew did a virgin version and the spiked kind.] Here, dear- try this.

[She swaps glasses with him so that he can have hers instead. Hers comes with a healthy splash of brandy.]

[He raises an eyebrow, but takes a sip.] Still pretty sweet. But that's much better. Brandy?

Mhm. [She says with a little smirk.] Have I never shown you the proper way to celebrate the holidays? Surely a mistake on my part.

[parsecs]

Well, it ain't my holiday. Guess I've really needed to learn. Still, guess I can get behind any holiday that's got alcohol involved.

[daredtobelieve]

Traditionally, it's the preferred way to muddle through it if you aren't comfortable. Get a couple more of these in me and I might even start singing carols. [She winks and it's all the more obvious that she doesn't need the booze to have a good time here.]

Besides- we're celebrating much more than that. So clearly we should drink up.

Yeah, Bo and Andrew. [He smirks a little and raises the spiked eggnog.] Can't say I saw that coming. But they seem happy.

[daredtobelieve]

An unconventional match to be sure. But it's clear that they love one another. At the end of the day, that's all we can ask for.

[parsecs]

Rare enough in this world, or on any other. [He has someone he loves. At this point the jury's out on whether she'll forgive him enough to love him back.]

[daredtobelieve]

[She gives him a curious look.] I always forget you're something of a romantic.

[parsecs]

[He scoffs.] Am not. I just... know how to appreciate a good thing when it happens.

[And knows how hard it can be to lose that good thing.]

[She gives him a little knowing smile.]

Seems like much of the same to me. But call it what you will. It's sweet.

[I actually rolled for Des to dress up for this party and I never do and he rolled a 28, so... you can just imagine how hot he looks, because I don't have a reference image for that. He's just gonna come behind Helen and lightly tap her on the shoulder. :D

[Well, they are exactly perfectly matched in attractiveness which is kind of adorable. Drink in hand, Helen turns at the tap on her shoulder and finds herself smiling wide at the sight of him.]</small Happy Christmas, indeed! I didn't expect to see you here tonight.

Like I ever pass up free food. [He shrugs sheepishly.] It was either this or spend it in my shitty hotel room watching Christmas specials. The company's better here. [He holds up his own drink in a mock toast.] Also there's a robot on a roomba serving champagne. Can you believe that?

I've seen a bit of the work being done with him in the Hoard lab, but I certainly didn't expect him to show up for this. I suppose it's fitting- given the man of the hour is one of our finest. [She points out Andrew and Bo.] They decided to sneak off and elope just before we left for Andres. This is something of a belated celebration for them as well.

Well, aren't they just precious. [he laughs, because... well they're an odd pair, okay.] Myri and Vi are pregnant, Gar's getting married... I didn't realize it was spreading out past my team.

[daredtobelieve]

It gets all the more juicy when you know she's a succubus. [no one said helen was above gossip.] He seems happy. Which is good, because if you've ever dealt with tech support, it's never good to have them cranky.

Can't just let your little group have all the fun hm? I suppose it must be something in the water. Or the eggnog.

I've met her. She's a nice dame. [He cants his head at them both.] They both look happy.

[He snickers.] For awhile there, it was just a lot of violence and what-have-you. You get that kind of a raw deal handed to you, you find whatever hope you can. [He gives her a knowing look and then turns back.] But that goes for everyone. Not just us.

[daredtobelieve]

It's good to see them finding happiness. [Aggressively mother hens grown ass adults.]

And that includes you, you know. [She bumps him teasingly with her hip.]

I trust he's well? And you also?

[nothingsodivine]

[he ducks a head in an honest laugh.] He's an insufferable bastard as always. And so am I, so I guess all's well. [he arches his eyebrow.] What about you?

Oh, can't complain. Been feeling a little under the weather lately, but I'm sure it will pass soon enough.

[nothingsodivine]

[Stares at her.] Under the weather?

[daredtobelieve]

Nothing serious, I'm sure. Just woke up a touch nauseous this morning.
