Did you all think you were going to get to spend your whole mission time just watching Dawson's Creek and going to bars and reading trashy romance novels and watching cats fly while Gar did all the work all week long?

Here's one. How about the grab life by the horns, be assertive game? [ She groans. ] There has to be more we can do than just sit in this smelly car -- no offense.

Protocol. We want to make sure somebody's on hand if things go south quickly for some reason, and Gar winds up in danger.

She's a secretary. What's she gonna be in danger of, a leaky pen? [ She's being bratty, but COME ONNNN. ] It's just -- She's got experience in this stuff, right? Or Wynn wouldn't have assigned her. So, I don't see why we have to be all paranoiathon that she might screw up and require cavalry.

What if they work out that she's a spy and chloroform her?

Shouldn't we be hoping she's a good enough spy that they don't work it out in the first place?

Her first -- What? [ omg are you kidding me. ] But -- But, she has training, right? Wynn assigned her to her first spy mission when there's a freaky immortality amulet of death at stake?

I'm pretty sure he had Sir Koraith brief on what to do - I know she was dead set on not letting Wynn down, so if I know Gar, she wouldn't have gone in unless she felt like she knew what she was doing.

Okay, while I pretend that's in the same zip code as comforting. Let's hypothetically say she doesn't know what she's doing. We're not gonna get, say, kicked out of the knights if we screw this mission up, are we?

I don't really think too many people get fired for incompetence around here. Worst comes to worst, we'd get pulled off the mission and replaced, and forced to do a lot more training before we were sent out again.

Even if they mess up so bad it requires rezzing? [ It's said a little sheepishly, then she looks up and shrugs. ] Kat mentioned -- I didn't know they did that around here. Or, well, there.
