WHAT || MISSIONY SHENANIGANS
WHERE || Chicago.
WHEN || Monday Feb 27th -Saturday Mar 3rd
HOW || Actionspam

Did you all think you were going to get to spend your whole mission time just watching Dawson's Creek and going to bars and reading trashy romance novels and watching cats fly while Gar did all the work all week long?

Nice try.

Various duties are below - your characters will be dragged along on some of them over the course of the week. Feel free to pick and choose what your character might have volunteered (or been "volunteered") for.

Hey! It's more than I've seen you do. [She'll just... jerk the laptop off to her right hand side as if she's going to only show it to Sven now :| Yep. And read the rest. ]

"Headquartered in Chicago, the Hoffmann Institute has major branches (200–250 employees) in Barcelona, New York City, El Paso, Philadelphia, Portland (Oregon), and Tampa, with satellite offices (75–100 employees) in Aspen, Baltimore, Lima, New Orleans, Mexico City, Minneapolis, Paris, Phoenix,and Jakarta. Each office houses a fully equipped library, forensics lab, sample storage, morgue, armory, detention area, employee cafeteria, gymnasium, and motor pool. If a sample defies analysis at a branch office, the NYC head-quarters has an even more advanced laboratory available, fully staffed 24 hours per day."

[She clicks on a link and brings up this picture] And here's the man himself. Gar's boss and founder of this place. ... Looking pretty young there for a dude who's gotta be over a hundred.

12, aren't you glad Martha fails slightly less than the dumb boys?

[If there's one thing Martha's learned from all those years of med school, it's how to do research. Well, okay, two things, right after...being a doctor and all. She turns up sometime after the fire catastrophe and starts going through books like someone who's actually on task.] The Talisman doesn't have a Wikipedia entry, does it?
bigbad: injuries (you know the words still sting)

[Yeah, Spike's not even pretending to research anymore. He's just making sarcastic commentary.]

I'd say it sounds too bloody easy, but it seems to be the only approach that's given us anything.

[Yeeeah Sven's out, too.] The books and papers gave us a nice campfire for us to roast our smores.

It's a good thing most of those books are gone, or I'd use them to whap the both of you, right now.

[And oh hi Martha] No, it's not really a general knowledge sort of thing. Just treasure hunter circles, that kind of thing.
