Did you all think you were going to get to spend your whole mission time just watching Dawson's Creek and going to bars and reading trashy romance novels and watching cats fly while Gar did all the work all week long?

Various duties are below - your characters will be dragged along on some of them over the course of the week. Feel free to pick and choose what your character might have volunteered (or been "volunteered") for.

[So Martha is probably one of the worst choices possible for this, but Gar told her to go do it anyway. Or, you know, she asked nicely and Martha figured it was best to listen to her. Something like that. The point is, this uniform is really ugly and it's kind of annoying. Also itchy. And too large for her.]

Yeah, we really look like a couple of elevator repair people. This is a brilliant idea.

[witchwoman]

[Don't worry, Martha. Myri is an equally horrible choice, if not the most horrible, so you will obviously look awesome in comparison. How did Myrilandel end up here? Dumage kind of scares her, but... all she knows is that she was told to put on some strange clothes and is currently standing beside her fellow squire, looking uncomfortable.]

I'm still not sure I understand what an elevator is...

[Oh boy]

No one said you had to understand anything. Just bat your eyes if someone tries asking you anything. Works wonders. [And just to ensure that'll work for her too, she... unbuttons a few buttons on her uniform. Yep. Somehow it hugs her curves in the right places. Maybe she made some alterations. Either way, she puts a hat on and gives them both a tight smile, before hopping out of the van.]

[Myri slowly climbs out and follows after the Knight, still unsure what her part is in this at all. She leans over to Martha and whispers:]

I still wish I knew what an elevator was...

[Martha whispers back as they follow Dumage:] It's a sort of...metal box inside a building that's used to carry people from one floor to the other, instead of using stairs.

[Dumage clips up the steps into one of the multi-storied unmarked buildings, located behind the main facility. And sashays right up to the desk, where a guy in a security outfit looks up, then does a double take at the three ladies coming in. He mostly just... gapes at Dumage though, and she leannns right over and smiles at him.] Good morning. Don't mind us. We're here to repair the lift.

[witchwoman]

[There isn't much time to do anything but follow the lead of the Knight in charge. Myri isn't sure what expression to have or how to act, so her face just settles on... blank. This is totally a natural expression.

Thank goodness for Dumage's... charm.]

[Martha tries to keep from rolling her eyes at Dumage's behaviour. It seems to work wonders on the security guy, though, so whatever. Must be her high charisma score. She's just going to chill out with Myri behind Dumage and look unobtrusive.]

[postergirl]

[The guy's jaw flaps a little and he smiles stupidly and points up behind him. "Down that hall" he instructs.] Thank you, darling. [Without another word, she heads off that way, resolute, leaving him staring in the wake.

She turns into the hall, then looks back to make sure the girls are there. She looks to Myri.] Don't lose that toolbox.

I won't. [She manages to get out as she follows down the hall. Her heart is pounding very hard, slightly concerned that somehow just speaking will cause someone to realize that she doesn't belong.]

[Martha gives Myri a reassuring smile to hopefully combat Dumage's, er, bitchiness.] Does...what we're doing require much technical know-how?

[This may be a dumb question, but she doesn't know what else to ask.]

It might. If the elevator were actually broken. [She gives Martha a Look] Kat's just placed a spell on it to make put it on the fritz. Won't last more than a couple hours.

So we know what we aren't doing... [Myri says quietly] But I think it's still unclear what we are...
