The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[It makes her a bit wary to agree to do this without Stiles there, but maybe this would be good for her. Shifting with a pack... of sorts.]

[He just shakes his head, dumbly trying to process this information as best he can.]

I'm uh- missing some of my memories. Mostly people. My dad, for one. And someone named Scott, I guess? And you. I don't remember you.

Scott's your best friend. [She says it as if she's trying to fill in some empty space for him, solve the puzzle.]

But if you don't remember things -- if you don't remember me then you can't help me with my shift. [Her hand slowly slides from his, but she doesn't step away from him, she just felt as if she shouldn't be doing that anymore.]

[He looks down at his hand as she pulls away, frowning as he tries to force the memories to come. They don't, of course, but he feels bad about it.]

Shift? So you're- what? Another werewolf?

[Malia frowns, trying to ensure that none of her hurt is visible. She's learned how not to appear weak, to fend off those that might attack - or provoke an attack.]

Coyote. Werecoyote.

[Stiles can come if he wants. He just has to stay behind the bear, so he doesn't get himself killed. And while she knows it's not the most ringing endorsement, at least it's better than Lan who's not willing to try at all.]

We'll just ... try it. And if it's not something you're comfortable with, I know where we can find some chains.

[Maybe if Lan watches her teach Malia, then he'll let him teach him too.]
